An arrest has been made in the case of murdered New Jersey councilwoman Eunice Dwumfour, who was gunned down outside her home in early February, according to reports.
The Middlesex County Prosecutor’s Office, which has led the investigation, has been notoriously tight-lipped about its progress, but it will hold a 4 p.m. press conference to update the public, ABC7 reported Tuesday.
The 30-year-old Republican was killed Feb. 1 after an unknown gunman pumped several rounds into her SUV — while Dwumfour’s 12-year-old daughter sat inside their Sayreville home.
Witnesses said they saw a man dressed in black running from the scene, but investigators have said little about whether they’d identified a suspect or found a motive for the killing.
Dwumfour’s family has said they didn’t know why anyone would target the newly married Newark native, who was also a pastor. Friends and family described her as a well-liked woman who was deeply religious.***

The killer, Rashid Ali Bynum
We really need torture penalties, and the opportunity for citizens to volunteer to help with the punishment.
There’s really no need to pay someone for caning or whipping, like they do in other countries.
He probably felt dissed
I would prefer the murderer be killed in same manner as he/she killed the victim.
Eye for an eye and tooth for tooth is only real justice.

“Sayreville Councilman Eunice Dwomfour was shot and killed by someone she knew from church, authorities in New Jersey said Tuesday.
Rashid Ali Bynum, 28, of Portsmouth, Virginia, was taken into custody on Tuesday morning just before 11 a.m.
Police say Bynum knew Dwumfour from the Champions Royal Assembly Church in Newark and they worked together at the church.”
Nah. Probably triggered by a microagression. Justifiable homicide as long as you are “woke”.
I hope they have the right man, and he is tried and convicted ASAP.
Attorney General starts off about “senseless gun violence”.
He was in her phone contacts with a reference to a church she was involved with in VA and NJ.
Allegedly he planned the murder, traveled from VA to NJ in a rented car, returned immediately after.
Motive not revealed.
But certainly not “senseless gun violence”. A planned hit, one way or the other.
“a reference to a church”

Prediction:
Scumbag was hitting on her, she said no, he said “yo ain’t no one disrespekts me”, and then he blew her away
She was newly married. Jealousy?
Maybe but sounded like more of a planned hit than rage.

She clearly is way out of his league.

Yep, premeditated and “IN COLD BLOOD”.
Another council member there was shot to death in that same week.
With the exception of serial killers, people commit murder for one of three reasons according to former detective Ken Mains:
Sex
Revenge
Money
Once again, there is that 2% of the population that commits 60% of the murders.
Yolanda Ciccone is a force not to be trifled with.
Unrelated.
A borough councilperson was fatally shot in New Jersey this week, marking the second attack in seven days where an act of gun violence resulted in the death of a local elected official in the state. The shooting that killed Russell Heller, 51, stemmed from a workplace dispute, authorities announced Friday.
These criminals can’t handle any disputes, they just kill people they disagree with. What has happened to parenting in this country? These criminals never grow up. Sickening.
