President Donald Trump’s all-business approach to fixing the sinking American economy is preferred by GOP voters by a wide margin in several key battleground states, new data from National Research has found.

In a summary from Interactive Polls, National Research found that Trump was the overwhelming favorite when asked who was “best to improve the economy” between the 45th president and newly declared presidential candidate Gov. Ron DeSantis, R-Fla.

On this issue, Trump dominated GOP primary support in South Carolina by a whopping 49-point spread. He also snagged overwhelming support in New Hampshire (+41 points), Iowa (+42 points) and even in DeSantis’s home state of Florida (+28 points).

"Best to improve the economy":

South Carolina:
• Trump — 60% (+49)
• DeSantis — 11%

New Hampshire:
• Trump — 54% (+41)
• DeSantis — 13%

Florida:
• Trump — 46% (+28)
• DeSantis — 18%

Iowa:
• Trump — 57% (+42)
• DeSantis — 15%

In the Palmetto State, Trump is also holding a wide lead as the preferred nominee in the 2024 Republican presidential primary election, according to National Research. They found that Trump was up by 25 points in South Carolina over DeSantis.

In Iowa, McLaughlin & Associates found that Trump has maintained a solid lead over the field of GOP candidates in the 2024 race with 49.5 percent of GOP primary voter support against DeSantis’s 24.5 percent support.

President Donald Trump’s MAGA platform has also won the political heart of GOP primary voters in California. In a survey from UC Berkley, 44 percent preferred President Donald Trump as the 2024 Republican Party nominee, while 26 percent preferred Gov. DeSantis.

NEW POLL: Which of these two Republicans do you think has the best chance to win in 2024?— InteractivePolls (@IAPolls2022) May 26, 2023

Interestingly, in an online Twitter poll conducted by Interactive Polls, most Twitter users indicated that Trump had a better chance of winning in 2024 than DeSantis. Out of 17,175 votes, 75.3 percent indicated that Trump had a better chance, while 24.7 percent of respondents indicated that DeSantis had a better chance.

Trump addressed recent polling data comments posted to Truth Social, writing, “Also, in the polls, I am beating Biden by a lot, ‘Rob’ isn’t! Also, WAY UP ON RON. Check out the DeSanctus speech at the Trump Rally I gave to get him elected. Not easy! p.s. I got 1.2 Million more votes in Florida than Ron, a little reported fact!”

DeSantis : Spokesperson Doubles Down on Zelensky, War Support/War Monger!
Presidential candidate Ron DeSantis’s spokeswoman, Christina Pushaw, has doubled down on her historic support of Volodymyr Zelensky, suggesting that critics skeptical of her pro-war stance want her to “support Putin”. Pushaw, the Governor’s “rapid response director”, has faced criticism for her support of Zelensky, a man accused of embezzling hundreds of millions from U.S. taxpayers.

Trump will win the Primaries.

DeSantis will say all the right things, but will not be able to pry the Trump fans from the Trump train.

i really can’t figure out what desantis thinks he’s accomplishing ... i had great hopes that he’d be lined up for 2028 ... as it is, i don’t see where he’s improving his goodwill with MAGA voters ... maybe he’ll be one of those lesser-of-two-evil choices by then ...

If DeSantis can not defeat Donald duck in Florida, how is going to defeat Donald Trump?

Abortion was the main issue which caused red wave to fizzle out in 2022 mid-terms. After learning republican senator proposed a ban on abortions after X number of months, young American women came out of the woodwork to vote. They usually do not bother to vote in large numbers.

DeSantis will suffer the same outcome as the red wave. Democrats are very good at exploiting hot button issues.

Private career? I like Ron, but he is not an outsider and will be controlled by the money people.

It’s time to recognize that there are no solutions within the two parties.

Former Secretary of State John Kerry, a Democrat, tweeted “Congressman Massie has tested positive for being an asshole. He must be quarantined to prevent the spread of his massive stupidity,”[127] a message which was shared by Donald Trump on Twitter.[126]

If you want to have fun with Trump haters remind them that,
"Character doesn't matter"
and watch as they twist themselves into a pretzel until their heads explode.

Kari Lake is the most intelligent republican woman in politics, Period. And most patriotic, period. And most MAGA, period. But unless you are intelligent, you will not know that.
