John Kerry: Farmers Must Stop Growing Food to Meet ‘Net Zero’ Goals for ‘Emissions’
Slay News ^ | May 27, 2023 | Frank Bergman

Joe Biden’s “climate czar” John Kerry is calling for farmers to stop growing food in order to meet the administration’s radical “net zero” goals for lowering “emissions.”

Kerry, Biden’s Special Presidential Envoy for Climate, issued the warning during a green agenda conference in Washington D.C.

During the Department of Agriculture’s (USDA) AIM for Climate Summit, Kerry told the audience that “we can’t get to net zero, we won’t get this job done, unless agriculture is front and center as part of the solution.”

Kerry warned attendees that his and other world leaders’ “lives depend” on farmers ceasing their operations.

Stopping farmers from growing food will lower agriculture “emissions,” Kerry insists.

He continued by noting that he does not even call it climate change anymore.

“It’s not change; it’s a crisis,” he declared.

...

eating meat should be a luxury that is limited to wealthy elitists like himself.

Essentially, the masses must stop eating meat to meet the goals of the elite.

“Food systems themselves contribute a significant amount of emissions just in the way in which we do the things we’ve been doing,” Kerry asserted.

...

Kerry called on world leaders from all around the world to massively scale back their citizens’ farming operations.

He argued that doing so is vital in order to keep the planet cooler as we move into the future.

“This sector needs innovation now more than ever,” Kerry said.

“We’re facing record malnutrition at a time when agriculture, more than any other sector, is suffering from the impacts of the climate crisis.”

“We need economic, social, and policy innovation in order to scale adaptation of these technical solutions and get them into the hands of folks in the fields of small farmers on a worldwide basis.

“This is the promise of AIM for Climate Summit.”

...

Biden, meanwhile, recently vowed that the U.S. will reach “net zero emissions” by the year 2050.

How this happens depends entirely upon how many farms the globalist overlords can force out of business, resulting in much less food and far fewer mouths to feed.

Co-led by both the U.S. and the United Arab Emirates (UAE), AIM for Climate is devoted to slashing farming emissions through investments in “innovation.”

As Slay News has been reporting, examples of this “innovation” include corporate insect-processing factories to replace the public’s meat supply with “food” made from bugs.

“Food and agriculture can contribute to a low-methane future by improving farmer productivity and resilience,” Kerry said.

“We welcome agriculture ministers participating in the implementation of the Global Methane Pledge.”

Teresa Heinz, 84, must be in very poor health if she isn’t smacking sense into J. F’n Kerry daily.

Plants that are grown for food pull CO2 out of the atmosphere. For Ketchup Boy Kerry, the world is too perfect and, as an opportunist, he needs to find something wrong with it.

This is why wealth sovereigns should be prohibited from government and politics.

Right, I've read several articles and looked at all of Kerry's published quotes.

At NO POINT does Kerry say farmers have to stop growing food in order to meet net zero.

Without even looking into this article or any of the ridiculous things Kerry has said, if you want to know why people, not just on this site, but everywhere are so ready to believe an article like this, it is because there is no doubt that Kerry and his ilk think exactly this way, and are currently in the process of doing such things. The Dutch are just one example, but we'd be fools to think that the same absurdities won't be applied here, as soon as they think they can get away with it. These people would be more than happy to starve us all to death, and all the tinkering with the supply chain, the fuel prices and availability, sudden inflation, and all the climate hysteria is merely the steps toward that end. We're going to that destination - it's just still long enough away where we can't quite see it clearly.

The EU is just freakin’ NUTS with this shutting down of farmers’ farms, and Kerry wants to be a conduit to bring the nuttiness here, along with the evil Bill Gates. We’re all supposed to live our lives according to their twisted and ill-formed global warming fantasies and the like. Take these people and turn them into food for pigs.

They should investigate settling in the developing world. Productive and prolific farmers may have a future there. The same goes for the fishermen whom the Netherlands was trying to economically wreck the other month.

Doubly insane. Plants take CO2 out of the air! The carbon compounds we eat recombine the carbon with oxygen which gives us the energy we need to live. WE are the Carbon the elites seek to reduce!

I thought ketchup was made with tomatoes grown by farmers.

Maybe Heinz tomatoes are grown some other way. 😊😆🤗😀

Stopping farmers from growing food will lower agriculture “emissions,” Kerry insists.

I detest John Kerry, but if he actually said that, the article should provide the actual quote in which he said it, rather than putting the quote marks around just one word. All we can tell from this is that at some point, in some unknown sentence, Kerry must have uttered the word, "emissions." This article is a sin of omission, just like the sins of omission practiced in the leftwing media.
