Howdy, PRO.
Did it cool off a little as predicted? Makes doing yard work a little easier when sweat isn’t poring into your eyes.
It’s been pretty comfy here this week for a change. Not chilly, not hot.

Yeah, the finales kinda hurt. Now we have to wait until Fall for season 45 and Wednesday evenings won’t be as fun for a while. It was a fun 3 hours tonight.
I see sunshine up your way now after a gloomy day. Someone in chat said rain is in the forecast for tomorrow so fingers crossed for luck!

Hiya radu!
Yes it has cooled down the past few days, got the mowing done yesterday and a bit more yardwork accomplished today. The pups always appreciate the company while Robin is working.
Just chilling out now and tomorrow.

Nice weather’s always a pleasure to get out in to putter in the yard. It won’t be long before none of us wants to get outside.
I would have loved to get some stuff done here but I really did a number on my back last week. No mowing this week! I’ve laid low so I can walk this weekend at the museum. No telling how busy we’ll be but I need to be ready, just in case. I hope we ARE busy.

All for Jesus
Whatever you do, whether in word or deed, do it all in the name of the Lord Jesus.
Colossians 3:17When Jeff was fourteen, his mom took him to see a famous singer. Like many musicians of his era, B. J. Thomas had gotten caught up in a self-destructive lifestyle while on music tours. But that was before he and his wife were introduced to Jesus. Their lives were radically changed when they became believers in Christ.
On the night of the concert, the singer began to entertain the enthusiastic crowd. But after performing a few of his well-known songs, one guy yelled out from the audience, “Hey, sing one for Jesus!” Without any hesitation, B. J. responded, “I just sang four songs for Jesus.”
It’s been a few decades since then, but Jeff still remembers that moment when he realized that everything we do should be for Jesus—even things that some might consider to be “nonreligious.”
We’re sometimes tempted to divvy up the things we do in life. Read the Bible. Share our story of coming to faith. Sing a hymn. Sacred stuff. Mow the lawn. Go for a run. Sing a country song. Secular stuff.
Colossians 3:16 reminds us that the message of Christ indwells us in activities like teaching, singing, and being thankful, but verse 17 goes even further. It emphasizes that as God’s children, “whatever [we] do, whether in word or deed, [we] do it all in the name of the Lord Jesus.”
Reflect & Pray
How can you do all things in the name of Jesus? How might you allow God to use your actions and words for His glory?
Loving God, help me to surrender every one of my activities and words to You.
For further study, read God’s Expectations.
