The unhinged Manhattan college professor who went viral for cursing out anti-abortion students shockingly held a machete to a Post reporter’s neck Tuesday — and made wild threats that she was going to “chop” him up.
Shellyne Rodriguez spewed the menacing remarks when The Post knocked on the door of her Bronx apartment Tuesday morning — a day after she made headlines for flipping out on pro-life students at Hunter College.
“Get the - away from my door, or I’m gonna chop you up with this machete!” the manic adjunct art professor shouted from behind her closed door just moments after veteran reporter Reuven Fenton identified himself. Seconds later, Rodriguez barged out and alarmingly put the blade to the reporter’s neck.

Well, maybe there are some people that should be forbidden to own guns; like this lady.
Pretty sure it’s illegal to posses a machete in NYC.
Certainly against school rules.
That’s assault with a deadly weapon, no?
“I wonder if she’ll get tenure.”
If she wasn’t going to before, then threatening someone with a machete to defend abortion should guarantee it.
Reporters hounding people at their homes do not get much sympathy from me. Threatening to chop them up with a machete seems like fair warning to go away.
At this rate, she won’t be around long. She’ll pull some stupid stunt on the wrong person, someone that will just “end” her, right there.
I looked, unless you are a gardener (or whoever using a machete for it’s intended legal purpose), possession of a machete in NYS is illegal, just like a gun.
I’d be demanding her arrest for assault with a deadly weapon. And, I’d be calling every administrator and board member of that college asking why she is still employed. She is obviously a threat to others.
Another NEELY?
Call in the Marines.
If she was in a common are of an apartment building with a blade that long in NYC she should be facing charges. I learned a long time ago that even a Swiss Army knife can get you arrested in NYC.
No tenure for adjuncts.
This is what parents pay $50,000 tuition for these days. Adjuncts.
If she were white she’d be fired already.
Bump
That’s why I brought it up, but it’s not entirely impossible for an adjunct to get tenure. Maybe this could be her ticket to jump the line.

Putting a machete to the reporter’s neck sounds like aggravated assault.
Should be charged & arrested.
I've never seen it happen but it might. I never thought a mistress could end up as a vice-president but it happened.
Does she still have her job? Or was she just put on paid leave....
That was Satan speaking.
“ And, I’d be calling every administrator and board member of that college asking why she is still employed”
She’s not.
