The self-proclaimed good Samaritan who in multiple news interviews claimed he performed CPR and helped victims in the fatal Texas mall shooting has been accused of lying and spreading misinformation.
The Allen Police Department, whose officers responded to the massacre that left eight people and the gunman dead, have declared that former Army officer Steven Spainhouer is not a “credible witness” after finding inconsistencies about the stories he shared with CBS News and other outlets.
Spainhouer claimed he raced to the Allen Premium Outlets after getting a call from his son about the shooting, with the frantic dad recalling how he arrived before any other first responder and tried to administer first aid to the victims, including a girl who “had no face” and a boy who was hiding underneath his dead mother.
Spainhouer was hailed as a hero in the middle of the tragedy, and he went on national media outlets to call for gun reform in the Lone Star State despite being a “gun lover.”
Allen police, however, said the dramatic testimony does not fit with the official timeline of the shooting, warning the public and media to stop sharing Spainhouer’s tale.

And as several found out, digging further, a big democrat activist involved in texas democrat activities.
There is no "gun lover" I know who would EVER refer to any semi-automatic rifle as an "automatic weapon".
In fact, since 1934 there are only four known instances of automatic weapons used in crimes where someone was killed. In three of those instances the weapons were legally obtained, with two of them illegally used by law enforcement officers.
It now makes me question whether or not he actually was an ex Army Officer.
Did he get there on his bicycle?
No. Just shitlib liars.
“We can put red flag laws in place. We can limit high-capacity rounds. … We can stop putting some of these weapons like M4s and AR-15s in the hands of people that don’t need them,” Spainhouser (sic) said in an interview with CNN.
I want me some of those "high capacity rounds".
“Spainhouer claimed he raced to the Allen Premium Outlets after getting a call from his son about the shooting, with the frantic dad recalling........”
IIRC, this is similar to what David Hogg claimed @ Parkland.
Oh my…virtue signal much??…this guy should be eating applesauce in a pink padded cell…
Ah, I see. He’s a Democratic Party gun-control activist. He’s a lying sack of s#!t. But I repeat myself.
Related to David hogg no doubt. Wondering if he jumped on his bicycle to get there quick.
That’s a typical REMF
I know folks here are pissed at Fox but this jerk went on CNN then said on his FB page, “FOX News can stop calling me. I will not talk with anyone associated with FOX News.” The comments are all from his liberal friends and this one struck out, “Steven, is it the local affiliate? Just curious as they tend to be ‘better’…and I think I would talk to anyone else but them also… Maybe it’s a good opportunity to have your voice heard, as a father, as a Democrat, as a gun owner?” So, he is a lib.
He’s a Democrat.
Agree. Spread this news far and wide, make this moron radioactive.
Great catch!
Bump
There used to be this afternoon TV show called “To Tell the Truth”. The idea was to tell lies to mislead/lead the panel of judges to a certain conclusion.
Time for that show to come back, but in a Candid Camera format.
That could be very interesting at exposing virtue signalers and other goofballs.
Yes he is a D!
Yeah, his story that a girl’s face was blown off by an AR15 round was a bit sketchy.
“The former army officer and police officer who didn’t know the difference between a semi-automatic rifle and an automatic one.”

I’d forgotten about that bit. I remember several of us here pointed out that he obviously knew little about firearms.
I’m glad the cops made his lies public. They could have stayed quiet on the issue. Good for them!
And some wonder why many of us question whether some of these shootings are staged for maximum media coverage to push gun-control. He was a democrat’s wet dream and a case of “too good to be true” for their narrative.
He had all the right phrases and credentials to be their new favorite gun-control spokes-person.
