A startling 50% of migrants streaming into the Big Apple are not vaccinated against the contagious and potentially deadly poliovirus, city Health Commissioner Ashwin Vasan recently revealed — as he urged doctors to help prevent a public health emergency, The Post has learned.
Vasan also said the new migrants come from, or pass through, countries with high rates of infectious tuberculosis — and noted there’ve been outbreaks of chickenpox in shelters housing the newcomers.
“More than 50,000 people have come to New York City (NYC) in the past year shortly after crossing the U.S.-Mexico border. As more people arrive and many make NYC their home, the scale and scope of need continues to grow,” Vasan said in an eight-page letter, dated April 11, sent to physicians and other health care providers. A copy was obtained by The Post. “I am writing now to underscore how critical it is that health care providers take a wide range of considerations into account when working with people who are seeking asylum … The scope of this letter represents the scale of the need. It is incumbent upon us as a welcoming city to comprehensively evaluate and meet these needs.”

Do not worry. Overwhelming majority of Adult Americans chose to get vaxxed. The anti-vaxxers are such small minority they are irrelevant. Ignore them because the paranoid always yell the loudest.
Let me count..Months ago when I researched the numbers, 265 Million adult Americans had chosen to get vaxxed. Even Biden could not manage to get more than 1/3rd that number, including fake votes. Yeah I know, size matters.
Unfortunately there are enough antivaxxers that we are already seeing outbreaks of diseases like measles. Add a significant unvaccinated illegal population in close quarters and I’m concerned we may start to see significant outbreaks of diseases a lot of people have only read about. Time will tell.
The TOTAL adult population of America is ONLY 258 million where the heck did you get this number!!!

And, one of the principal jobs the illegals get is working in groceries. They are cutting up our fruit and vegetables, probably not washing their hands properly before doing so. They are serving up takeout food from behind counters. These two jobs alone could spread diseases like wildfire.

Being against Covid-19 fake vaxxines are not the same as being anti-vaccine everything. I’ve never advocated a wholesale anti-vaccine policy and many here have not. I was vaccinated for polio in the 50s. I had a friend who was crippled with polio. The disease was virtually eradicated here in the US but now reemerging because of the uncontrolled illegal immigration policy of this administration.
You correctly illustrate the dangers of an unvaccinated populace - very much like the CDC’s formerly promoted concept of “herd immunity” (of about 75%) but has abandoned with Covid-19 pretty much demanding a 100% participation rate, because their vaxxine is NOT working.
The ONLY vaccine I have had in my ENTIRE 70 years of life was smallpox, I have survived EVERY single disease including a VERY BAD case of Covid!! The ONLY 2 times in my life I was REALLY, REALLY sick was the Hong Kong Flu and Covid!! I made it through the whole damn 3 years without catching Covid THEN BAM at the end of the whole damn mess I caught the stupid thing!! Did not go near a DR. or hospital I NO LONGER TRUST any of them!!
Amen. Not the same, and to draw direct comparison seems, well, disingenuous. There is of course a social contract, but this went too far and was energized by the less complimentary elements of human nature.
Personally, I just shy away from untested medical treatments that are being pushed by traitors and eugenicists. I’m not so concerned about the others.
The China virus ‘vaxx” ARE NOT VACcINES dim one.
I received double vaccines. Then got the booster shot. My case of the Omicron variant was mild. Vaccines reduce the severity of the infection from covid.

You’re making the same fundamental error that has caused so many to look down their noses at so-called “anti vaxxers.” Just because one substance is called a “vaccine”, and actually is safe and effective, doesn’t automatically mean some other completely different substance labeled with the same word is safe and effective. The polio vaccine is absolutely “safe” (safe enough - nothing is 100%) and it works. It also prevents transmission of the polio virus. The experimental, never before tried mRNA COVID “vaccine” isn’t even a true vaccine, because it doesn’t kill the virus and thus prevent transmission, and it certainly is not safe, as evidenced by numerous serious effects since its introduction, and the completely unknown longer-term effects.
To blindly trust the mRNA shots just because they’ve been slapped with the same word used to describe tried and true vaccines is foolish, and condescendingly criticizing those who are wisely skeptical of them just compounds that foolishness.
