Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnell said he’s returning to Congress Monday after a nearly six-week absence recovering from a concussion suffered in a fall.

His arrival will be met by rumors of an impending retirement.

A top McConnell aide told The Washington Times the Kentucky Republican “is not going anywhere,” and rejected reports in the media that suggest he’s stepping down.

In a spirit of rare cross-party cooperation, the venerable Demonicrat Chuck Schumer has reached out across the aisle, offering Mitcho his two best crack teams of Demonicrat-affiliated BLM and Antifa escort teams to officially accompany Mitcho in his historic return to the sacred senate chambers.   (For those of you not familiar with those two escort teams, here's a brief look at both of them in action.)

Hmmm... If he retires, will it be a bigger loss for the democrats or the republicans?? He does magical work to generate republican support for democrats' big ticket priorities - like going after Trump, passing their trillions of dollars spending to fund their cronies.

Elon Musk had a hilarious tweet recently about Mitch. I can't remember the exact quote, but it was something along the lines of "I often forget which party he belongs to".

I was unaware of that. If that is correct that does put a different spin on it.

Wish it was true but they won’t let him retire. Too hard to get a new useful idiot.

You only get the one quarter to play the life video game, why would anyone not want as much time as possible to enjoy retirement?

McConnell seems souless and empty.

To stay in DC longer than necessary? Why? ...unless you beleive there is nothing better for you as your light dims.

He’s rich. Go look at a mountain. Go look at them all. Be in awe of the miricle of life in an infinite universe.

Mitch does not work. He has a staff of hundreds to do everything including kissing his butt. He loves it and can’t give it up.

Not necessarily, Kentucky law for US Senator replacement says the Governor gets to select one of three candidates provided to him by the party of the Senator departing. So, that means the republicans will send him only republicans, we hope, if they have half a brain.

Who would appoint his successor? The governor? I don’t know anything about him. Is he a dim?

Just give up the “Leader” position and stay in the cloak room, “Team Mitch...”

Andy Beshear is a far left despotic little prick. He is corrupt and considers the legislature and the law to be an irritating hindrance to his rule.

Fetterman’s been replaced by a near-look-alike, probably be the same with Mitch. And the Deep State is confident they can continue to pursue the switcheroo. After all, it worked with Hillary! after she collapsed and got thrown into the van.

Our country is so screwed...

This lifelong Kentuckian and registered Republican is tanned, rested, and ready.

“Andy Beshear”

He’s conflicted to. He’s a deacon in his church and wants to act all religious but is the leader of The Pro-Abortion Democrats in Kentucky. Jesus speaks to his type in Matthew 6:24: “You cannot serve God and mammon; No one can serve two masters”

The Turtle OWNS the GOP in Kentucky.
Which leads me to think he will hand pick his successor. Meaning we’re not gonna get another Rand Paul.

My face and body have been replaced by a really old guy’s appearance.

Why expect every republican to pass every litmus test?
I never see such eating their own on DUmmies.

Is it any wonder why the Cannibalism GOP party keeps losing elections?

No one recognizes me any more

Glanced at a mirror as I passed it this morning and instantly thought, "What's Dad doing here?"

He passed 22 years ago...and as I'm typing this it dawns on me, today is his birthday...WOW!
