“Get woke, go broke,” has become a rallying cry of the political right whenever they see a brand make the slightest effort to align itself with liberal or progressive values. It’s a meme that allows MAGA country to believe that there is ongoing, massive backlash to products that acknowledge and celebrate marginalized communities. But the supposed boycotts never seem to be reflected in the bottom line.
Besides, by the time we would expect to notice any effect, conservatives have already moved on to the next outrage. Kid Rock and Travis Tritt declared war this week against brewer Anheuser-Busch for a Bud Light partnership with trans actor Dylan Mulvaney, yet the focus has already shifted to the whiskey Jack Daniel’s because of its ad campaign featuring drag queens — which happens to be from 2021.

There may be some downturns here and there but no big company has gone under for embracing DIE.
This is Yahoo. No credibility. Budweiser is crying its eyes
out right now because of the Woke Croak BS. The jerk that wrote this is on another planet.
Well it’s hard to go broke when you got government subsidizing you and bailing you out.
Not.
Ask Disney.
“True or not?”
The wages of sin are going up, it seems.
But Satan misplays his hand at times. Hilary’s defeat comes to mind.
Conservatives should advocate for the right whenever and where ever possible.
The problem is we - as a country - appear to take one step forward and two steps backwards.
And without Divine intervention our current trajectory will take us where we don’t want to be.
Many conservatives and republicans are fools who are easily distracted, not principled and not disciplined. Selfishness comes into play, as well. The kind of libertarian “self-interest” school of thought that, while, makes for a better society, is actually a loser in the culture war. You need unquestioning, loyal, drones in an army. the Left is an army of 200 million. The right is 100 million armies of one.
I'm not sure where that is but I don't like being carried in a hand basket.
Conservatives see the world as it was, not how it is. Consider that over one half of the US population was born after 1980. Over one half of the population subjected to leftist media and education. Wokeness of some degree is now part of society.
There IS NO divine intervention. We LOSE. That is why there is a return eventually. Because in a fallen world EVIL WINS. And we need to be “saved” from it. Unless you mean “microinterventions”, or little bits of small delays to the inevitable.
They call it oligopoly. The handful of companies that control a market don’t lose their position overnight. There’s a dialogue of Hemingway’s that gets a lot of attention lately: “How did you go broke? “Gradually ... then suddenly.” Controversies don’t usually drive companies into bankruptcy because most of the country (or the world) don’t hear about them.
Have the American people even began to weaponize targeted boycotts yet?
No, they haven’t and they hold lots of power to do just that.
YAHOO. MICROSOFT. THE MSM et al. Enemy of the people. I don’t know how these people took control of our news but it is clear that they are communist puppets.
That is completely by design, not accidental.
Anhauser Busch has lost $4 Billion in market cap over the last bot - owing, it seems to their stupid past belief. Bud Light ad set.
Does not sound like a win to me.
Maybe, maybe not. Credibility gone...yahoo should just F.O.
How much has Disney lost again? How much box office did “bros” get. Yahoo isn’t even good enough to call it a joke
BLA, BLA, BLA, they are trying to make us believe that our purchasing power doesn’t matter, UTTER BS just ask Disney, and Bed Bath and Beyond STAND YOUR GROUND!!! WE are the ones with the disposable income THEY are the ones that have time to protest in the streets WITH NO INCOME!{
Not all of the Millenials and Gen Z are woke. Fortunately we still have red states. But it's a huge problem. Propaganda is nonstop. That's why Joe Biden is going to win in 2024. Even though he is a feeble old man who doesn't know what day it is today.
