Former Arkansas Gov. Asa Hutchinson made his 2024 White House bid official on Sunday in an exclusive sit-down interview with ABC "This Week" co-anchor Jonathan Karl.
Ahead of his presidential announcement, Hutchinson, a Republican, spent several days in the first-in-the nation caucus state of Iowa, stirring speculation that he intended to enter into what he acknowledged is a tense national political landscape.
"I have made a decision, and my decision is I'm going to run for president of the United States," Hutchinson told Karl. "While the formal announcement will be later in April, in Bentonville [Arkansas], I want to make it clear to you, Jonathan, I am going to be running. And the reason is, I've traveled the country for six months, I hear people talk about the leadership of our country. I'm convinced that people want leaders that appeal to the best of America, and not simply appeal to our worst instincts."

Has the no profanity rule been lifted?
A-hole Hutchinson running for President is an absolute joke. On the bright side, at least we get to start our Sunday morning with a little humor.
Zip, zero, nada.
Why? He has no chance.
more proof of runaway egos.

Another RINO pussy wants to be POTUS.
"ABC News exclusive: Former Arkansas Gov. Asa Hutchinson announces 2024 presidential run"
FR: Never Accept the Premise of Your Opponent’s Argument
Masks are going to be falling off with respect to incumbent and retired governors who try to run for Oval Office in 2024. Such governors are likely institutionally indoctrinated governors who don't understand the federal government's constitutionally limited powers.
More specifically, regardless that FN want's everybody to believe that the Oval Office is the most powerful peacetime office in the land, the Founding States had actually reserved the lion's share of government power to serve the people to the states, not the federal government.
In fact, the congressional record shows that Rep. John Bingham, a constitutional lawmaker, had clarified the drafters of the Constitution had trusted only the states with the care of the people, not the untrusted big, bad federal government.
”Simply this, that the care of the property, the liberty, and the life of the citizen, under the solemn sanction of an oath imposed by your Constitution, is in the States and not in the federal government [emphases added]. I have sought to effect no change in that respect in the Constitution of the country.” —John Bingham, Congressional. Globe. 1866, page 1292 (see top half of third column)
In other words, federal domestic policy is now based mostly on state powers, and uniquely associated state revenues that the very corrupt, post-17th Amendment ratification Congress has been stealing from the states for the last 100+ years.
"From the accepted doctrine that the United States is a government of delegated powers, it follows that those not expressly granted, or reasonably to be implied from such as are conferred, are reserved to the states, or to the people. To forestall any suggestion to the contrary, the Tenth Amendment was adopted. The same proposition, otherwise stated, is that powers not granted are prohibited [emphasis added]." —United States v. Butler, 1936.
The feds steal state revenues by means of unconstitutional federal taxes, taxes that Congress cannot reasonably justify under its constitutional, Article I, Section 8-limited powers.
"Congress is not empowered to tax for those purposes which are within the exclusive province of the States." —Justice John Marshall, Gibbons v. Ogden, 1824.
“If the tax be not proposed for the common defence, or general welfare, but for other objects, wholly extraneous, (as for instance, for propagating Mahometanism among the Turks, or giving aids and subsidies to a foreign nation, to build palaces for its kings, or erect monuments to its heroes,) it would be wholly indefensible upon constitutional principles [emphases added].” — Justice Joseph Story, Commentaries on the Constitution 2 (1833).
We don't want governors to try to take the immense state powers that they used to make their respective states thrive with them to the Oval Office and use them to likewise make the nation thrive. State powers do not belong in the Oval Office and are the reason why the people are now being oppressed under the boots of corrupt, constitutionally undefined political parties.
In fact, in these troubled time, I wouldn't trust the feds with the specific power to be national dogcatcher.
Getting back to misguided (imo) Gov. Hutchinson running for president, the only way that peacetime governors can serve the most people that they can under the Constitution is to keep their governor's jobs.
Patriots, the bottom line is this imo. What is your threshold of “pain” for peacefully stopping unconstitutionally big state and federal governments controlled by bully, constitutionally undefined political parties, from oppressing the people under their boots?
The inevitable remedy for ongoing, post-17A ratification, corrupt political party treason (imo)...
All MAGA patriots need to wake up their RINO federal and state lawmakers by making the following clear to them.
If they don’t publicly support either a resolution, or a Constitutional Convention, to effectively "secede" ALL the states from the unconstitutionally big federal government by amending the Constitution to repeal the 16th (direct taxes) and 17th (popular voting for federal senators) Amendments (16&17A), doing so before the primary elections in 2024, that YOU will primary them.
If the proposed amendment was limited strictly to repealing 16&17A, relatively little or ideally no discussion would be needed before ratification of the amendment imo.
With 16&17A out of the way, my hope is that Trump 47 becomes the FIRST president of a truly constitutionally limited power federal government.
In fact, since unconstitutional Social Security, based on FDR era stolen state powers imo, is projected to run out of money by 2033 as a consequence of alleged Democratic and RINO criminal mismanagement of SS funds, please consider the following.
The sooner that 16&17A are repealed, putting a stop to unconstitutional federal taxes, the sooner that the states will find new revenues to establish their own SS programs, depending on what state social spending programs the legal majority citizen voters of a given state want.
Social Security trust fund on track to run out in 2033: analysis (3.31.23)
(from above) ”Simply this, that the care of the property, the liberty, and the life of the citizen, under the solemn sanction of an oath imposed by your Constitution, is in the States and not in the federal government [emphases added]. I have sought to effect no change in that respect in the Constitution of the country.” —John Bingham, Congressional. Globe. 1866, page 1292 (see top half of third column)
"[...] a single courageous State may, if its citizens choose, serve as a laboratory; and try novel social and economic experiments without risk to the rest of the country." —Justice Louis Brandeis, Laboratories of Democracy.
In the meanwhile, I'm not holding my breath for significant MAGA legislation to appear in the first 100 days of new term for what may still prove to be another RINO-controlled House.
In other words, primarying RINOs in 2022 was just for practice. Trump will hopefully do another round of primarying for 2024 elections.
Wow! An ABC News exclusive!!! Earth shattering news!!!
He is about as Milquetoast as Romney.
Mister Excitement, he isn’t.
His rallies will rival McCain’s. Ole Mc got a crowd of 200 in Louisiana when Obama was getting crowds of a few thousand. One of Mc’s campaign trips took him to New Hampshire where he was met by an entourage of one (1) — a local reporter.
He will be fighting for 3%.
Borders? He would be GWB-esque.
This ought to be amusing.
Maybe he and sue-newnew can team up.
Why? Something you want to say? Let us know how you feel.
A guy that sounds like Jim Varney jas no shot at the presidency. Hutchinson is Ernest P. Worrell without the humor.
Hutchinson-Romney 2024!
I saves my cursing for things worth getting zotted over. This is none of that.
Or Cheney. Let him team up with Liz Cheney. A match made in...well...
Branding himself as Not Trump.
...also branding himself as a Crayon Eater.
Not Trump, Crayon Eater.
The coice is clear America.
ABC News. In other words the Democrat Party🤬
