States don’t want to pay for nut asylums anymore.
Psychiatric\psychology “experts” have convinced the states that asylums aren’t necessary the mentally ill can be “mainstream” (kept in society!). The states are happy to believe that because they save money where they can waste elsewhere.
Also, what drugs that exist and do control psychosis only work if they are taken. After 18 who makes them do it?
Of course, then there’s the current cultural fad of saying such psychosis is normal!

Like I said - they laughed prior to any comments about the shooting. Were they even aware that a shooting had taken place? They were there for some press thing and photo op. Probably liberal small business owners that were excited to hear about the latest hand-out.
Yes, I suppose the audience can be forgiven, if they were in fact unaware. But even if they weren’t aware, their laughter was so sycophantic and cringe worthy.

In Democracy in America we vote with our feet..every day. We vote where to live, where to work, where to worship, where to play, where to shop. We vote with our pocketbookl... at big box or mall or corner store.

Elections are not DEMOCRACY IN AMERICA. They do not happen every day. They only happen 2 or 3 times per year.
In DEMOCRACY IN AMERICA everybody votes, registered, unregistered, citizen, immigrant, illegal, excon, children, ... everybody...universal suffrage.
The undemocratic left wants you to think that Democracy is in Government. You think that... they win.

That was creepy indeed. It was Fox News commentators showing the clip that seemed to me to be at a loss on how to react. For a moment it looked like they were going to cut away and go to commercial or something... (about the time I was saying out loud at the TV “Leave the kids alone you perv!”... ;-)
Where was the joke about the ice cream? It’s not quoted in the article, just mentioned. The rest, I’ve heard already. Yeah, yeah, yeah, assault weapon ban. Riiight. Never mind all that. Ice cream joke!
