Eyedrops from EzriCare and Delsam Phama were recalled ....
As of March 14, a reported 68 patients in 16 states have been infected with this 'rare strain' of Pseudomonas aeruginosa, according to an update by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC).
Global Pharma Healthcare recalled its Artificial Tears Lubricant Eye Drops that were distributed by EzriCare and Delsam Pharma last month. The drops had been sold at drug stores across the country, including Walmart, Target, and CVS, and on Amazon, though the products have since been pulled.

Most patients reported using 10 different brands of artificial tears, but EzriCare Artificial Tears, “a preservative-free” brand. Notice preservative free, I’m guessing a preservative would have killed the bacteria.

Notice preservative free, I’m guessing a preservative would have killed the bacteria. “Organic” strikes again. Gee, maybe there was a good reason that preservatives were invented.

Had cataract surgery on both eyes in January. They told me to only use Refresh Tears, and nothing else. I’ve been using that brand for several years now. Since the surgery, my eyes don’t get as dry as they used to.

3 people die after using contaminated eyedrops I guess eyedrops manufacturers to pay CDC bureaucrats as much as the Frankenshot manufacturers. Tens of thousands have died from the shots but they still haven't been recalled.

This is horrible.
I have a phobia about putting anything in my eyes to begin with, I won't even consider contact lenses, much less put eye drops into them. Things eye related make me very squeamish.
