Democrats are more focused on targeting political opponents than protecting its citizens
If we are to believe the news, the district attorneys in Fulton County, Georgia and Manhattan will soon announce indictments of Donald Trump.
The New York indictment looks especially imminent. Manhattan District Attorney Alvin Bragg is hellbent on charging Mr. Trump. In fact, the New York City District Attorney’s office has been searching for any way to charge the former president since 2017. The investigation has poured over President Trump’s personal and business life. They’ve reportedly settled on charging Donald Trump for the non-crime of his attorney Michael Cohen paying Stormy Daniels settlement money.
Even The New York Times admits the case is a stretch: “The case against the former president hinges on an untested and therefore risky legal theory involving a complex interplay of laws.”
It doesn’t matter. Donald Trump is uniquely evil to the liberal prosecutors in New York. Mark Pomerantz, who investigated Donald Trump for the New York City District Attorney’s office, reveals in his book that he was asked in 2017 to join the DA’s office for the sole purpose of going after Mr. Trump. Mr. Pomerantz wrote that, unlike prosecuting “killers,” the prospect of prosecuting Mr. Trump made him emotional, as Mr. Trump “disgusted” him.
The now-former prosecutor wrote that he “would have paid the District Attorney’s Office for the opportunity to prosecute President Trump.”

We aren’t a nation of laws.
We are a nation of Democrat lawyers.
They know.
They get the ultimate high from shoving it in our faces.
Yeah, but seems that now they’re getting some push back. Did you see McCarthy’s and Rick Scott’s comments today?
McCarthy accused Manhattan DA Alvin Bragg of “an outrageous abuse of power” and of “pursu[ing] political vengeance against President Trump” in a tweet posted Saturday morning.
“I’m directing relevant committees to immediately investigate if federal funds are being used to subvert our democracy by interfering in elections with politically motivated prosecutions,” McCarthy said. Leading GOP hardliners in the House, including Reps. Chip Roy (R-Texas) and Marjorie Taylor Greene (R-Ga.), signaled support for the probe.
“[McCarthy] is right, and I fully support his call for an investigation,” tweeted Sen. Rick Scott (R-Fla.). “No federal dollars should be used to prop up this radical, Soros-backed activist attorney or his gross political attacks.”
Scott even mentioned Soros. I think that’s crossing the political Rubicon!
That must be your dream; there is nothing there but to create a cloud and embarrass, like the Russia collusion hoax...easy to create false charges long time to disprove...all for election...it will not affect Trump GOP nomination...this is what Desantis is hoping for, but won’t move the polls much for him...Trump as 55% of GOP electorate locked Desantis can’t win.
Any push back is a welcome change.
To our “betters” it’s as worrisome as water pouring through growing cracks in the damned dam upstream of their homes, and ultimately, just as lethal.
The system was NEVER meant to work with only ONE party ... all this lawlessness is proof of the need for TWO parties.
We aren’t a nation of laws.
We are a nation of Democrat lawyers.
**
Man, you nailed it. They control literally everything now.
The statute of limitations for this is….?
At least two parties.
It was Republican “bi-partisanship” for 50 years that has stacked our court system with activist, anti Constitution jurists who are doing a good job of screwing the hell out of us and our country. You need look no further than Arizona’s courts protecting Rat vote fraud.
.
It is my understanding that Trump attorney Michael Cohen paid Stormy Daniels the hush money without Trump’s knowledge. The money was paid to two women through American Media, Inc. (“AMI”). Cohen caused American Media, Inc. (“AMI”), which was identified in previous court filings as “Corporation-1,” to make a $150,000 payment to one woman; in the other, Cohen made a $130,000 payment to another woman through an LLC he incorporated for the purpose of making the payment. Were both efforts to extract money from Trump extortion?
U.S. Attorney’s Office ruled a “Non-Prosecution Agreement” with American Media, Inc., related to its payment of $150,000 to a woman to influence the 2016 presidential election. Is this latest effort against Trump a case of double jeopardy?
“legally petition the government for redress of grievances.”
Needs to be a protest sign...
“If we are to believe the news, the district attorneys in Fulton County, Georgia and Manhattan will soon announce indictments of Donald Trump.”
What’s the state of serious crime in these districts?
And the other DA's planning such chicanery might take notice and think, "You know ... I don't really need this..."
At some point the legal system will collapse just like the banking system.
At that point every man will live only by his own law.
One can hope!
No it won't. Stop spreading lies.
Which is how it should be.
