Weaponization of the legal system reaches a new level

Democrats are more focused on targeting political opponents than protecting its citizens

If we are to believe the news, the district attorneys in Fulton County, Georgia and Manhattan will soon announce indictments of Donald Trump.

The New York indictment looks especially imminent. Manhattan District Attorney Alvin Bragg is hellbent on charging Mr. Trump. In fact, the New York City District Attorney’s office has been searching for any way to charge the former president since 2017. The investigation has poured over President Trump’s personal and business life. They’ve reportedly settled on charging Donald Trump for the non-crime of his attorney Michael Cohen paying Stormy Daniels settlement money.

Even The New York Times admits the case is a stretch: “The case against the former president hinges on an untested and therefore risky legal theory involving a complex interplay of laws.”

It doesn’t matter. Donald Trump is uniquely evil to the liberal prosecutors in New York. Mark Pomerantz, who investigated Donald Trump for the New York City District Attorney’s office, reveals in his book that he was asked in 2017 to join the DA’s office for the sole purpose of going after Mr. Trump. Mr. Pomerantz wrote that, unlike prosecuting “killers,” the prospect of prosecuting Mr. Trump made him emotional, as Mr. Trump “disgusted” him.

The now-former prosecutor wrote that he “would have paid the District Attorney’s Office for the opportunity to prosecute President Trump.”

"Weaponization of the legal system reaches a new level"

And in doing that the Demonicrats pile on giving more aid and comfort to the domestic and foreign enemies of the United States.

The crazy Leftists seem to have absolutely no idea that the VAST majority of Americans, even a lot of American Democrats, are beyond sick of their wasting the nation’s time, and billions of its money, on a monstrously ridiculous crusade to demonize one man.

Every time they pull something like this, thousands more Americans are asking, “What are these people afraid of?”

My BIL and his idiot wife think it is a great idea to use the State Police to take out political opponents for the crime of being.....political opponents.

They are too f’n stupid to realize that once that line has been crossed it works both ways. There’s no going back.

I believe the primary reason the Democrats are willing to cross this Rubicon is because they have decided this is the BIG push to finalize their one party system. Flood the country with illegals and forever change the demographics and culture of the US. To fully weaponize federal law enforcement and the various intelligence agencies to eviscerate political opposition and drive the public into complete submission. That’s why Garland is going after another thousand attendees of Jan 6. Watch and learn proles what happens to any political protests or any attempts to legally petition the government for redress of grievances.

50 years of squishy go along Republicans rubber stamping far left anti Constitution judges has paid off. It stopped and continues to stop any efforts to stop vote fraud. As evidence, 2020. Which proved that 2016 was the last (barely) legitimate presidential election.

I’m sure Attorney General Garland is preparing the indictment right now.

Yes, but we are way past this in our nation on almost every single level.

They are obviously pulling out all the stops because they believe that if he runs he will win and destroy them.

I have said it before and I will say it again, but the biggest mistake for Republicans in my lifetime was believing in “bi-partisanship”. It removed “absolute truth” from the debate.

If you believe a concept or idea is wrong and harmful but you decide to meet the concept or idea “in the middle” or compromise are you going in the right or wrong direction?

We “compromised” for decades and now we see the results. Those who pointed out that the end result would be the same were right. The analogy of one car driving 15mph and one car driving 100mph arriving at the same destination was always true and here we are.

At least our republicrats can feel good about themselves since they were so polite and bi-partisan.

As Carlin said, "Bi-partisan means some larger-than-usual deception is being carried out."

And Carlin was a big Lefty, but he spoke a lot of truth, but sometimes his hatred of all things religion somewhat clouded his judgement.

There is no question in my mind that Trump will be indicted, that a Manhattan (democrat) judge and (democrat) jury will convict him, and that New York state (democrat controlled) appellate courts will affirm the conviction.

Welcome to the Banana Republic States of America.

“targeting political opponents”

Clearing the field.

They never try to persuade or convince.
Tyrants simply command, under physical penalty for non-cooperation.

We are truly in banana republic land when we start prosecuting people for being political opposition when they leave office. The democrats are doing this along with the January 6 political prisoners because they see an opening to create a one party state, they’re trying to make opposition to the democratic agenda a criminal offense.

If this keeps up it will eventually lead to a totalitarian state or civil war. They’re in the middle of consolidating their power and stamping out dissent. We’re basically in the pseudo-legality phase of 1933 when the Nazis were consolidating their power under Hitler, using obscure legal theories and staged events like the Reichstag fire to clamp down on wrong thinkers. January 6 is being used similarly by democrats like the Reichstag fire to clamp down on dissent.

This indictment will likely lead to the exclusion of Trump running in 2024 and his case will linger in the courts past the date of the next presidential election. I surmise that Trump will win his case and won’t seek the WH again. The DC NWO owned traitor cabal will have succeeded.
