Horrifying cases of women being raped in their rooms at top hotel chains are taking place because staff are allegedly handing over keys to sexual predators unchecked, The Post can reveal.
Two separate cases in Texas claim men broke into women’s rooms after lying to staff to obtain keycards.
In an even more shocking incident, one man was allegedly able to convince police and hotel staff to deliver his victim to his own room at a Hilton-owned property.
One alleged unwanted entry was only foiled when a quick thinking woman slammed a door on an intruder’s hand — severing his finger clean off in the process.
Outlining a December 2022 incident at a Holiday Inn Express & Suites, a lawyer representing a victim, who hails from Milwaukee, told The Post: “The woman was asleep and she woke up to the man crouched at the foot of her bed with his pants undone and a condom out.
“She was able to scream and get him out of the room, and she immediately called down to the front desk. They admitted, ‘Oh yes, we did give a key to the man. He said he knew you.’”

They were half right. He was intending to know her.
It’s all part of the dumbing down of our workforce...He said he knew her? I travel a lot and now I am going to have to say upon check-in that I am not expecting anyone so don’t give my key out?
Just when I begin to hate lawyers, a story like this one comes along.
I hope each victim sues the hotel in question for ten million dollars.
Obviously, sexually-frustrated heterosexual white businessmen are behind these malicious attacks.
Serious dumbing down of the work force.
At least call the guest (in room or on cell) before believing this.
I 100% agree, but also anyone who doesn’t use the safety lock when staying in a hotel is crazy.
I hope her bank gets a large infusion of cash!
This is what we get for dumbing every thing down.
that’s what i am going to do from now on, and i travel with my husband.
I will inform them that we are the only 2 folks in the room, and no one else has a right to a key.
That’s insane that we have to worry about that now.
GOOD.
Yes. And I go one step further. I always take a battery-powered wedge alarm with me when I travel. I put it at the door. If the door opens, a loud-as-hell alarm goes off. They’re available on Amazon, among other places.
Plus I always keep a weapon close. Doesn’t have to be a gun.
But something will be close.
Yeah, that's the way to do it!
Condign punishment immediately administered.
Number One: Use the safety lock on your hotel door at all times! They’re not just simple chain locks anymore.
The safety locks aren’t any stronger than the screws holding them on.
Apparently, there is a hotel in DC where the hotel workers/sex traffickers break into the room of women who are traveling alone to sexually assault or rob them. It is well known and well documented on yelp.
I think it was this one -
just a ‘finger’
Add employees who are too scared of racism accusations to tell them to get lost.
The safety locks aren’t any stronger than the screws holding them on.
But at least it will make a racket is someone tries to bust thru it.
