However, much of it is reposted here. https://www.zerohedge.com/weather/snowed-and-terrified-trapped-california-mountain-residents-plea-help
My buddy’s dad bought a place up in mammoth after working as a dentist in Huntington Beach for decades. He was a big skier but his wife couldn’t stand the wind and cold up there. This year it dumped 10 ft from Mammoth to Truckee.
Speaking as a former Wyoming resident... only in California would people live in the mountains, and not know how to live in the mountains.
To hell with California. These are the same bleating fools that believe in global warming. Enjoy the snow.
Who lives in an area like that without more than a week’s worth of food, water, meds & heat? Don’t people plan worst case anymore?
If they watched Jerimiah Johnson
These folks don’t own shovels?
The current crop of morons infesting this country is the biggest bunch of sissies I’ve ever seen in my life. Oh look! A big snowflake! Somebody save me! Grow up you idiots.
*Laughs in Northern Wisconsin*
I work at Home Depot in the desert area of SC we have sold at least 60 generators in the last two days, people in some areas have been without utilities for days!! People who live in these areas have freezers STOCKED with food BECAUSE they are great distances from grocery stores!! I REALLY feel for them ALTHOUGH you should SEE the mountains they are absolutely GORGEOUS it is like a picture post card!! I live in a 55+ community on a golf course the snow birds from Canada, Oregon, Washington, ect. have had HORRIBLE weather conditions this year, the winds and cold weather this year has been horrible!! GLO BULL warming LOL, LOL,!!! I hope this cooling trend continues through the summer this year!! Winds have been just AWFUL I am so damn sick of cleaning my deck!!!!
Worst drought ever. 😂🤣😂🤣
Once we were caught in a freak winter storm in the mountains without a corkscrew, and we were forced to survive for 2 weeks on nothing but food and coffee.
Menlo Park is right between San Francisco and San Jose, Kalifornia. Back when we spelled it California, in 1961 it snowed in Menlo Park. We had snowmen that did not immediately melt away. In the late 1970s it snowed again in and around Menlo Park. The snow remained on the ground long enough that we hiked up into the hills and did a little cross country skiing.
Governor Newsom is no where to be found, but he did declare an emergency. To him, the real emergency is making sure all of the snow melts out to the ocean. God forbid the snowmelt disturbs the constant Kalifornia drought.
My father forty years ago lived on a “ mountain “ in Up state NY. He wouldn’t have been caught dead without months of food stocked away.
I’ve seen a couple of YouTube videos and the snow drifts are covering the houses. Its unreal.
Wow, those pictures are incredible. We get snow here in Michigan (very little this year) but I would never live in an area that is susceptible to that much snow.
Lot of these libtards live on meal deliveries and/or eating every meal out daily. Guess they’re finding it hard to make it a few days on nothing but wine and humas.
They’re rationing WATER? Do they know what snow is made of? You’d think SNOWflakes would be better informed.
There are some stunning you tube clips of this storm. The ones from Donner Pass are amazing.
I live out in the country but no where near so remote as the mountainside California. If we couldn’t leave the property we’d survive just fine for 2-3 months and we’re not prepares.
Obviously these people need rescuing but if you’re going to live that remotely you really should take reasonable precautions.
