Joe Biden’s dumpster-fire presidency has taken another disturbing turn amid reports that his wife, Jill Biden, has become the power behind the throne. Fox News columnist Liz Peek expressed alarm that the first lady is apparently assuming an outsized role in the Oval Office beyond the scope of her official duties.
“Jill Biden has been described as the president’s closest confidant and has influenced not only his decision to run again, but also policy decisions and key hires....
Jill Biden’s former press secretary, Michael LaRosa, confirmed she has become a pervasive influence on everything the president does.
“She is his gut check on everything,” LaRosa told Bloomberg.
Historian Katherine Jellison, a professor of women’s history at Ohio University, agreed.
“She is more hands-on than many other First Ladies have been,” Jellison told Bloomberg. Former Georgia Rep. Doug Collins said what Jill Biden is doing is deeply distressing and a threat to the nation.
“This has really gotten concerning, because nobody, frankly, in all fairness to the first lady, nobody elected her to answer questions for the president on issues that the press may have questioned,”
In short, Joe Biden ceding the presidency to an unelected official undermines his own authority and endangers the nation.

I’ve been saying this for a while...
When people wonder how Bidet stays in power and isn’t removed or resigns for heath reasons, or when people were betting that he’d check out and let Kamala preside for 10 years, I would look at Jill.
She married into that fun house of a family, endured years of idiocy, drugs, death, sniffing, and is now reaping the rewards. She can effectively run the country throug her clearly deficient husband (though he’s amazingly lucid when railing against guns or people who won’t take covid shots or Trump fans), and enjoy the privileges of the office of First Lady, without ever having to campaign or take her lumps.
Joe is her human shield, and there is no sign that she has any desire to stop.
Yes, Bidet is an awful, angry, little man. His policies are antithetical to the founding, his support for abortion and weaponization of the DOJ reveal his dark side, and his execution of the Executive Branch is a shambles.
But the fact that Jill hasn’t intervened, and let’s her clearly demented spouse deteriorate while she soaks up the adoration of a fawning media and the richness of First Ladyship, tells me everything I need to know about her.
In any other situation, it’d be elder abuse. Here? It’s simply BAU for the Baby Boomer wing of the Democrat/Industrial Complex.
