The only interest the ruling class has in the public is the end of the same.
People have been making jokes about “soylent green” for about 50 years. In a starving world, the miraculous food source which sustains the people is Soylent Green. And it turns out that Soylent Green IS people.
Well, as your image points out, the Green people want to reduce carbon. And it turns out the carbon IS people.
