ABC’s Farah Griffin: DeSantis ‘Overhyped’ — Will ‘Implode’ Under Trump Attacks
Breitbart ^ | 02-09-2023 | Pam Key

Posted on 02/09/2023 11:01:18 AM PST by ChicagoConservative27

Alyssa Farah Griffin told her co-host Thursday on ABC’s “The View” that Gov. Ron DeSantis (R-FL) was “overhyped” as a potential 2024 presidential candidate.

Griffin said, “On DeSantis, I think he is so overhyped. I’m just going, to be honest, I’ve seen Trump take out every mini version of Trump for the last five years. I think right now, the party wants something other than Trump. They want Trump light, so they are boosting and hyping DeSantis. He doesn’t do national interviews. He does nothing on the national stage. I think he will implode once Trump goes after him and keeps going after him. My sense is this, how ugly this got this quickly is remarkable and spells for a very bad two years. Trump went straight to you’re a groomer. Maybe save that for June before the primary.”

Do you succeed at everything you do the first time out?

You act like being President is such an easy task. Well, for your information, he did very damn well for a man that had never gotten involved in politics, as a politician. Did he make mistakes? Of course he did. Most people would walk away defeated, that is not how Trump operates. He's a fighter, and you foolishly are willing to throw away a strong fighter for a complete unknown who barely won the Florida governorship over a weak candidate. He won the 2020 election, and he received tens of millions more votes than his 2016 run garnered. He got more votes than any other Republican President ever received in their reelection bid. He got a higher percentage of black vote than any other Republican in modern history got, same is true for Hispanics as well.

But now you have bought into the lie that Trump is a loser, being peddled by the same people that worked in cahoots with the Democrats to steal the House in the 2018 midterm elections, the 2020 Presidential & Senate elections and the 2022 midterm elections also. They did so because for them it doesn't matter who is in control, because that is all a facade anyway. Their main trust was to defeat the MAGA movement, and Ron DeSantis is their final play in that endeavor.

In my book he's an even better president than Reagan was, and I didn't think anyone would ever score higher with me.

Your analogy is a poor one at best. Had Trump never built a structure before it might have been appropriate. Being a president is so much more complex, and the number of pitfalls one runs into are very large in a bloated bureaucracy where corruption runs rampant. That's no excuse to start over with a fresh person, when Donald Trump now has experience & knowledge as to who the rotten actors are. Had the 2020 election not been stolen from him we wouldn't even be having this discussion.

This controversy reminds me of the FLAME WARS that went on here in the late 1990’s.

Nothing will ever compare to those Dole/Kemp wars.

I didn't partake much, but definitely agreed with the Kemp supporters more over the "it's Dole's turn" or "Dole deserves it" claims from the Dole crowd, much like we're seeing now with Trump supporters.

But those were pretty much just endless, nasty, personal attacks, with people being banned and immediately creating a new handle and firing off a new vanity right where they left off. Not that I'm giving anyone any ideas, because that truly was a horrible mess, that we don't need to go through again. And it was all happening after Dole had already lost!

That's no excuse to start over with a fresh person, when Donald Trump now has experience & knowledge as to who the rotten actors are.

In his first event kicking off his new campaign for President in '24, he's got Lindsey Freaking Graham out there as his headline act LOL.

Lindsey actually stood there right next to him the whole time Trump spoke. Did you even watch that, when they kept shaking hands every few minutes?

That'll be our next AG if Trump wins. He's on the exact same tract Sessions was.

In my book he's an even better president than Reagan was

With the benefit of hindsight Trump wasn't any better than either Bush. George W actually lifted the country up from the tragedy of 911, while Trump completely capitulated to covid, and instituted lockdowns, horribly dangerous vaccines, refused to issue Executive Orders protecting therapeutics, but did issue Executive Orders pushing ventilators, and allowing renters to quit paying rent, and students to quit repaying their loans, etc.

He made bad decisions on basically every element, on the greatest issue of this generation, but now wants to act like he was perfect, which is extremely dangerous considering his biggest mistake of all, which is allowing the gain of function research to continue. It should have been paramount that it all be shutdown, immediately, and he had the power to do that, but Trump wants that all swept under the rug and the finger pointed exclusively at China.

I know you're almost fainting over DeSantis with every post, but I'd actually prefer Rand Paul, because of his strength on this issue, which has the ability to impact every human on earth, again, as it just did, but with possibly much greater death and destruction, as covid-19 was in many ways actually a dud with regard to the strength of the virus itself. But they are working feverishly to make it and other viruses more powerful, and records show Pfizer is one of Trump's largest donors, so he is constantly acting as if he is completely blind on this topic, but more likely he is simply corrupt.

You never mentioned if you got not only the vaccines, but all the boosters, so you're quote "gutless" in Trump's book, in case you were wondering if your love for him is mutual.

Trump could be using him. Linda does have a lot of sway in S.C. Why that is I have no clue, but they love their Linda Graham in S.C.

He defended Mike Pence too, over the documents found at his home. Disarming them to a degree?

Perhaps you remember the old adage; keep your friends close, and your enemies closer.

All I know for certain is that Trump genuinely loves this country, otherwise, he would never have gotten involved, and DJT is not a stupid person either.

Trump has all of the right enemies. Most of those people in that pic are Trump haters and firmly in The DeSantis’ camp.
>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>
Exactly the reasons I’d be willing to crawl over broken glass to vote for him for the THIRD time! Simple strategy for diehard MAGA folks: determine which candidate is MOST HATED by your worst enemies and be sure to vote for that person! Oh, and don’t give in to the temptation to bad mouth that candidate no matter how justified you think it is.

Trump is the only one, who . . . has any real chance of making any real difference at all. Any other republican will just play defense and continue America’s descent into moral anarchy and America’s ultimate destruction as a free and just country.

Exactly how I see it.

The hard left calls DeSantis “DeSatan” and hate him every bit as much as they do Trump. It’s just on the local level here in Florida and not so obvious to outsiders.

What I’m “even talking about” is Trump supporters who are incapable or unwilling to be objective, and posit that he’s always right regardless of what he says or does.
>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>
I think what is more damaging are those Trump supporters who may be rightfully critical of his weaknesses but who simply find it IMPOSSIBLE to avoid badmouthing him in the public square. It is, IMHO, simply counterproductive and therefore IGNORANT to join the Democrat chorus as it attempts to destroy one’s candidate of choice!

Just to be clear there is no other person in the country except Donald J. Trump who is capable of leading this country and possibly the world out of the satanic mess we are in.
>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>
There may be such a person other than President Trump, but if so it is definitely no one who will be a candidate for POTUS in 2024.

why couldn’t Trump do it the first time
>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>
Huh? Do what the first time? Despite being stabbed in back by every turncoat in the GOP, and being continuously attacked by the Democrat Deep State and the fake news media, he managed to do more for our country and its people than any President in modern history! GET REAL FOR GOD’S SAKE!
