Alyssa Farah Griffin told her co-host Thursday on ABC’s “The View” that Gov. Ron DeSantis (R-FL) was “overhyped” as a potential 2024 presidential candidate.
Griffin said, “On DeSantis, I think he is so overhyped. I’m just going, to be honest, I’ve seen Trump take out every mini version of Trump for the last five years. I think right now, the party wants something other than Trump. They want Trump light, so they are boosting and hyping DeSantis. He doesn’t do national interviews. He does nothing on the national stage. I think he will implode once Trump goes after him and keeps going after him. My sense is this, how ugly this got this quickly is remarkable and spells for a very bad two years. Trump went straight to you’re a groomer. Maybe save that for June before the primary.”

“If Trump destroys DeSantis, we will lose Florida in the future, it’s sad.”
Not to worry.
Don’t be sorry.
They will never let Trump be President again, anyway. We all know that. Unless something very big and unexpected happens, Trump will just be a protest candidate.
“ Didn’t Trump endorse if not actually appoint half those people in that picture to jobs in his administration or Congress? Maybe we should compile a list.”
Conveniently you leav out that the house is now under the control of trump endorsed maga
“Sorry but DeSantis is no replacement for Trump.”
Replacement? Trump is out of office.
Trump is unelectable in a general election.
No. We need DeSantis to get on board and get Florida for trump. Period
It’s always Trumps fault. Yuck
“What do you think about Desantis running as vice president to Mr. Trump?”
U.S. Constitution
that is the real risk ... he may indeed turn 49 other states against him, but Florida is a different animal ... 30 electoral votes at risk ...
I agree, they will never let Trump win again no matter what.
But I know Trump, and if Trump doesn’t win the nomination, I expect him to run 3rd party spoiler.
I gladly voted for Trump twice, but he is going to take us all down with him.
She’s not far off the mark there.
DeSantis is going nowhere in 2024 where POTUS is concerned.
“DeSantis has no gravitas. He’s brave and he has some good ideas but he is a poor speaker and campaigner.”
Yet he turns blue into red!
So now we are going to blame Trump for the sorry state the republican is in and has been in for decades? Trump has all of the right enemies. Most of those people in that pic are Trump haters and firmly in The DeSantis’ camp.
Will Trump endorse DeSantis?
Utter nonsense. If he thinks he is ready for the national spotlight, then he needs to prove it. If he believes Trump is coming at him hard, he hasn’t even begun to experience how the press will come after him if he becomes the nominee.
“It’s always Trumps fault. Yuck”
The corollary to “it’s never Trump’s fault”.
The left loves DeSantis. The medias been hyping him since day one.

No they don’t. This article on how the View is attacking DeSantis shows how they do not want DeSantis as the nominee. They would rather have Trump. Knowing that they can beat (steal) another election in ‘24 just as they did in 2020 against Trump. But they have no chance against DeSantis.
They know (we all know) that RDS is the only conservative candidate that will defeat whatever losers the Rats come up with next year.
And this is why The View hopes Trump’s attacks on Desantis will work.

Not even close.
Like they loved Romney in 2012, until they didn’t.
