It’s just amazing how tight-lipped the DOJ and FBI can be when they are protecting one of their own. No “anonymous sources” or officials “close to the situation” leaked any of this information to the WaPo, NYTs, or WSJ during all this time? That’s truly hard to believe!

It is unfortunate and maddening that Law Enforcement across the board from bottom to top is not for the public protection and safety.
the fact that L.E. has the primary goal of self protection and protection of the government it serves
This role of LE and military causes a lot of problems in the USA and in the world
from causing riots in the streets to protecting corruption in government, Law Enforcement in the US is corrupt beyond belief because of this flaw in the system(even if the officers themselves are good men and unaware of this)

Looks like we have two sets of laws. I’m sure that Trump ans his lawyers would have allowed the FBI access to anything they wanted to see. But the FBI didn’t want the search conducted a Maralago with Trump’s lawyers present.
