Rep. Matt Gaetz (R-Fla.) said he is undecided on whether he will vote to block Rep. Ilhan Omar (D-Minn.) from sitting on the House Foreign Affairs Committee, expressing concern about censorship of opposing views.
“The reason I think a lot of Republicans want to kick Ilhan Omar off of the Foreign Affairs Committee is because they don’t like what she has to say,” Gaetz said on Newsmax Monday night.
“I am undecided as of tonight as to whether or not I would vote to remove Ilhan Omar from the Foreign Affairs Committee, because it’s one thing to do dangerous things to the country with intelligence. It’s quite another to say, ‘I don’t like your viewpoint, and thus I want to remove you,’” Gaetz said. “I don’t support that with Direct TV and Newsmax. I didn’t support it when it was directed at my friend and colleague, [Rep.] Marjorie Taylor Greene [R-Ga.].”

It really doesn’t matter what politicians say their reason for doing an action is...The REAL reason is actually democrats kick off republicans and republicans kick off democrats because of which party they belong to...Nothing more and nothing less...

He should COMPLEELY go after her for that.
He makes a valid point about dismissing her just because we disagree with her.
She should be thrown out of congress and possibly jailed for many OTHER reasons, though- and I think he would agree on that.
I think you can forget about him giving her the ax. In tried and true Republican fashion, a Republican has already spoken out against giving her the ax. As in the past, anytime the Democrats get in trouble, they can always depend on a Republican to pull them out.
Ilhan Omar's district is something like 65% white.
Forget about the Somalis. She was elected because the white Jewish women in that district voted for her.
Now that the Republicans have lead they want to play nice.
Anyone “undecided” about keeping this Walking Security Risk away from secret USA defense and foreign relations information should resign from his governmtnt position immediately.

For what appear to be personal reasons, Gaetz is stuck on rejecting almost any policy that McCarthy has endorsed.
This is going from righteous opposition to just being petty. Mark Gaetz will diminish his own status if he doesn’t check that knee jerk response to anything Kevin McCarthy says.
Actually good strategy - gotta have some opposition party, might as well have an easily mocked idiot.
On the one hand, I think she’s and Schiff should be expelled from Congress: she for immigration fraud and he for getting NY Post reporter kicked off Twitter among other things.
However, barring that, Gaetz is correct that political views should not decide committee removals. If that were the case, no Democrat should serve on any of the committees and half the Republicans should be removed.

Matt likes attention. Any kind will do even if it’s negative. As long as most of his ideas swing our way. Count on him raising more eyebrows. it’s the nature of the business.

She’s a Spy and using it for personnel gain
He’s a politician, some one who’s figured out how to buy people with their own money, in other words a confidence man. Once an elected official crosses from citizen to politician their word is worthless. A few choose to remain patriots, but sadly there is too much money and lots of other perks, so a lot of people lose their way.
