Others will be charged for offenses and also EMT'S for not responding when they got there.
You’ve been lucky. I’ve had similar, I guess it’s called ‘privilege’ now. But don’t think they cops won’t go after you in nice areas too. Nobody is safe from them when it comes down to it.
They’re either crooked or the DAs and judges and the cops are all good ol’ boys. No exceptions.
I wish I could unsee what I saw and I especially wish I could unhear his guttural calls for mom. That will haunt me forever. Yes, I sometimes let emotion get the better of me.
The officer that had pepper spray in his eyes (video1)—it was personal for him when he took off to go get the guy and I believe he was the kicker in pole video 2. I don’t know any facts prior to all this mayhem but Office Pepperman appeared hell bent on revenge. That officer has issues, the way he had the other officer wash his eyes...why didn’t he take control of HIS water and wash his own eyes? Odd...something odd about that first video.
They’ll be put in protective custody. Still waiting for Sandusky to get whacked after all these years.
I believe Don Lemon already did.
I really didn’t want to be there. I was yuppie, back then. They put over 100 of us in this huge room, and I thought I was going to scream. It was getting too warm, and there was no moving air. Then when I was led into the courtroom, the defense attorneys were sitting with their clients at a long table, whose relatives or parents got them nice clothes. Shirts and ties. I was so naive, I thought they were law students. Boy, did I feel dumb.
Demetrius Haley, formerly worked for the Shelby County Division of Corrections as a corrections officer, was cited in a 2016 civil rights lawsuit for allegedly ''beating an inmate to unconsciousness''.....
Thank you. I read somewhere that a couple of fire personnel have been placed on leave pending investigation. I think you may be right those two with deltoid patches on their sleeves, no gun belts, and emergency bags are fire personnel. They need to be terminated and criminally charged for doing NOTHING. They are an abomination of incompetence. Go to DM and see the braindead bleeding Nichols with 1000-yard stare propped against the squad car. The two fire did not check ABC, vitals, pupils, C-collar, reflexes, start an IV line, check for fractures...disgusting.
This is what they saw! DM:

In my experiences with jury duty, the thing that struck me was how seriously most people took the experience.
I’ve talked to lawyers who said that some people are real slackers about it; but I was generally impressed by my fellow citizens.
This is some real Mogadishu level s&!@. And there’s some defending this cause the guy might’ve ‘swerved around a cop car’.
Deplorable isn’t strong enough terms for everyone involved and those on here supporting it.
Nobody is safe from them when it comes down to it.

True, but I’m a 64-year-old white man who has never once given an attitude to any police officer. As opposed to a very large percentage of young black males who pose grave threats to cops every day.
Based on these circumstances, I’d say my chances of getting beaten to death by black thugs with a badge is very slim.
The EMT’S are responsible for waiting 20 minutes before taking him to the hospital. Be it firemen who showd up or otherwise.
Not saying it’s likely. But a *lot* of people are killed by cops over nothing. They’re militarized and not friendly, especially since the last 5 years or so. My 354 is an excellent example of how doing nothing can get you gunned down easily.
That beating at the camera pole was bad. Three or four held him while one beat him with the night stick from behind. My dad was born in 1932 and called them, “flatfoots”, if they were bad cops.
So much for having more black cops on the force.
I believe the bald guy on the right is ASP baton cop. Does anyone know which one was the obese cop kicking Nichols? Obese cop made himself breathless beating and kicking Nichols. These two should be charged with 1st degree murder. Did Nichols already have a dent on his forehead, or was it the baton or a kick?
DM hospital photo, dent in forehead, unrecognizable:

He is intubated, unable to breathe on his own, and “kidney failure” is part of cause of death. Was this beating so bad that the brain STEM was injured? Whole brain swelling?
I’ve only watched one video thus far and my takeaway is how many cops does it take to subdue a guy? It was 1 on 4, it should’ve taken them 10 seconds to get him on the ground, cuffed and into the back of the squad car.
From other sources….. Deputies had been called to his home 13 times previous for reasons like fireworks, noise complaints, and assault.
Now I understand it is very possible that this poor individual was SWATTED that night.
But with a record like this, I’m really not surprised that it ended like it did.
