Howdy, E.G.C. ((HUGZ))
It looks like Gizmo had a great time yesterday.
Was it really Chisolm Trail Park? ;-)

A new washing machine! Did they let you know they would be coming in the morning?
A good solid inch of snow on my deck. I’ll get it in the morning.

Had to go into the office this morning, and turn on my headlights. Appointments went well and no snow. That started this evening. I didn’t even notice til I went out on the deck
No ducks making a sound in the creek. I suspect they have flown somewhere without a hawk or owl for the time being.

I got a call this afternoon letting me know the delivery window would be between 11 and 3. I need to get up at 10 so I can have the cats dealt with before the guys get here, in case they do get here at 11 or shortly after. It’ll be my luck they’ll show up at 3. LOL
Everthing’s done but feeding the cats and I’m getting ready to do that now. Then off to bed.
It’s snowing pretty hard and the flakes are big and fluffy at the airport now. There’s quite a bit more coming up from the southeast so you’ll probably have a decent amount to shovel in the morning. I know you’re thrilled. :-)

Glad you didn’t run into any snow showers when you were out and about. They seemed pretty scattered. Not now! I went to the online jigsaw puzzle site I enjoy and at that time, it wasn’t snowing. When I took a break and peeked at the LH cam, I was surprised to see it was snowing.
Can’t blame the ducks for heading off to a safer spot. That many showing up together is bound to attract hawks and owls and maybe with them being gone, the birds will look for another hunting ground, making it safe for the ducks to come back again. I just hope they’re getting enough to eat wherever they are now.

Yep, this time it was. Wednesday I for whatever reason typed in the wrong location. We were at Wichita Ridge Wednesday. Yesterday Chisolm Trail Park. Today, pickup permitting, the vet and then Comanche Lake later today.

The snow has melted, but conditions are still treacherous with sleet and freezing rain. Eek.

Rainy, dark, and cold...temp hovering to just “freezing” so conditions are not good for wither hiking or driving. Grrrr.
At least I don’t have to shovel it.

Well....when I went in I was feeling a bit guilty, because I was in no pain whereas others there were on walkers, canes, etc.
Then I went in and the doc, a very handsome young Indian man, gave me a steroid aka cortisone injection. After which I couldn’t put any weight on my left knee at. all. ...and hubby had to help me to the car because of the pain.
Now, after taking a wonderful “meloxicam” tablet...which is a high powered anti-inflamatory med...I can walk again. They asked if I wanted an apointment for a 3-week checkup. I declined.

Hey there, Early Birds!
I really was an Early Bird this morning.
I didn't like it!
Seeing the sunrise is highly overrated. LOL!
Hope everyone in the cafe has a Fabulous Friday
...and a Wonderful Weekend!
Also hope you have no wild and wooly weather!

Glad he didn’t find any serious damage. Whew!! I sympathize with you and the cortisone shot. Getting one of those in the knee hurts!! I had one the first time my knee went out and said never again! After that, I just got around on crutches for a few days until the fluid drained out, then wore a knee brace for a couple of weeks afterwards.
Just go easy on it for a while so it doesn’t flare up again.
All the cat stuff is done, a path is cleared from the door to the laundry room, and now I wait for the delivery guys to call to say they’re on the way with the new washer. I was told it would be between 11 and 3 and with my luck, it’ll be right around 3 and I could have slept later. LOL

Arrrggghhh! Don’t ya just hate when they SAY 8:30 and then they show up at 3:30? Sorry you had to get up for nothing.
I wanted to go back to sleep when I got home, but I was so stressed from the pain and the fact that I was worse off after going than before, I couldn’t have slept. Good news is that I can now walk almost normally for now. Yay.
