Salesforce, a software giant with a notoriously woke CEO, plans to lay off around 10 percent of its workforce, which would come to about 8,000 employees. It is the latest layoff by one of the Silicon Valley Masters of the Universe.
Salesforce, the largest private employer in San Francisco, has decided to shut down a number of offices, saying the company has grown too much during the Chinese coronavirus pandemic, according to a regulatory filing obtained by San Francisco Chronicle.
“As our revenue accelerated through the pandemic, we hired too many people leading into this economic downturn we’re now facing, and I take responsibility for that,” the notoriously left-wing CEO of Salesforce, Marc Benioff, wrote in a letter to employees.

A big one coming Feb 1st from Cisco. Alot of people were already told last month that if they can’t apply for / find another spot within the company by then they will be gone come the 2nd.
All in preparation for a Biden recession. Which we are already in the early stages, it gets worse.
Ready, began preparations on usurpation day. Figured it was just a matter of time and golly, here it is.
Yep, moved 40% of one qualified account to a guaranteed fund.
I’ve been preparing as I thought the end of 2022 it would be bad——but it’s not. However, the money is running out and I’m reading about massive layoffs coming.
I guess I should start preparing again as I have started using the resources that I had prepared for 2022.
Bahahahah another stock pimped by CRAMER constantly
Along with Disney Netflix and other libtard CrAp
>>I use salesforce at work. I hate it
Everybody hates using salesforce - but their executive, highly-paid sales team sells to clueless executives, and lock them into multi-million dollar contracts and make it next to impossible to migrate to another platform without major effort and cost....it’s their whole business strategy.
It always amazes me how many people a software company employs. Seems most could do with a room full of twenty or so code monkeys, a couple of people in marketing, no need for direct sales, a handful of support people in an Indian boiler room (”Did you try rebooting?”), some financial folks and a cluster of managers.
50 people, tops...
Cramer is an excellent source for investing.
Whatever he says, just do the opposite.
How many H1Bs are involved in all of these layoffs? For Cisco, are there any Americans left at this point?
With all these layoffs, you can be sure the next H1B lottery will be fully subscribed, even with the price increase to apply.
Spoken like a true non-technical, non-business, person.
Works from home and has enough time left over to run another whole home business.
By April, we will be looking at 2022 as “the good ole’ days.”
I'm already looking at the Carter years as the good ole days.
looks like INDY!!
We use it as well. Thankfuly in my position I can just have one of my team get me what I need from it, and I can limit my time using it.
Their “once you buy a user seat, you can NEVER get rid of it or downgrade the access level, and must keep paying the fee for it for eternity” policy would have been enough to keep me from implementing it.
But I had no say in that.
Our Operations VP and IS Director made that decision. I imagine all the cutesy little animal animations played a part in that decision.
