Rep. Dan Crenshaw (R-Texas) said the hard-line opponents to House GOP Leader Kevin McCarthy (Calif.) becoming the next Speaker “are enemies now.”
Crenshaw told CNN’s Manu Raju on Tuesday ahead of the Speakership vote that those dug in against McCarthy will “obviously” not get the committee assignments they want over their defiance, but “it’s going to be so much worse than that.” “They are enemies now,” he said. “They have made it clear that they prefer a Democrat agenda than a Republican one.”
Crenshaw earlier on Tuesday dismissed the idea that opponents to McCarthy had a viable alternative who could win enough votes to become Speaker, telling Fox News that they are engaging in a “childish” attempt to gain notoriety.

Haven’t we had enough of Milktoast McCarthy? Good grief, for the life of me I can’t understand what possibly are his credentials for the job. It just proves how patronizing and corrupt the Republican Party is. Just because he’s checked all the notches on the political ladder, but hasn’t achieved anything else, he believes he is now entitled to the position.

That’s the difference between what he is called and what he is.
So, are they too stupid to understand what they are doing? How often have Democrats “responded” to FOX News and criticized fellow Democrats? The answer of course is NEVER. Then why do “Republicans” always go on the Sunday morning DNC shows, CNN, MSNBC, and seek to inflict fratricide?
Are they capable of suppressing their egos and turning down these options? Again, how come Democrats NEVER have this issue? Rarely do any currently elected Democrats ever go on FOX - if ever, of if tasked to take shots at Trump or Republicans.
Stop it. We will never gain any traction until these selfish political narcissists stop fragging other Republicans.
