A family member visited a friend out there about 20-25 years ago; he described television commercials encouraging young people to stay in the state.
There had been (and may still be) a trend of people attending college out of state (in the south, mostly), lining up a job there, and never looking back.
It's not the flight to sanity that today's migration is, but the exodus from PA is not new.

Right. What you describe there has been going on for years out in western PA. That region has been cursed with a combination of declining industry and terrible weather — both of which have a way of chasing ambitious young people away.

Let that sink in. We’re being REPLACED in our own country as our ‘betters’ work on killing us off, while decreasing our natural birth rate. By design.

Probably never because red states are also being invaded by illegals. I am in Florida, and there are planty of illegals here who can not understand any English.
We’ll see if Josh Shapiro can move those numbers higher when he becomes the new governor.

I was born in Pittsburgh and left when I was 10 days old. Never been back.
So, it’s not my fault, though many will disagree.
I hate to break it to the folks fleeing, but no red state is safe from stolen elections.

Every time census data is released folks (mostly on FR) misconstrue the meaning of some of the data. Every census document that shows international migration has this description of the data.
Significant to international migration is the movement of US armed forces and the migration from PR and the US. So it does not include just the foreign population (legal and illegal) to the US.
The disclaimer:
Net international migration for the United States includes the international migration of both U.S.-born and non-U.S.-born populations. Specifically, it includes: (a) the net international migration of the non-U.S. born, (b) the net migration of U.S. born to and from the United States, (c) the net migration between the United States and Puerto Rico, and (d) the net movement of the Armed Forces population between the United States and overseas.
You could buy a house for about 20-30k ..10 years ago.
I bought one for 10k...sure it needed some cosmetic work ..but 10k!

True. Florida is better than most, but the systems are only as good as the people running them.
But to me, Florida is still loads better than my old state of Maryland, which, once again, has a Communist in the governor’s mansion beginning in January.

Africa, muslim and CA countries aren’t even the worst problem.
Youngish white (women)who vote stupidly against their own best interest contribute to the ridiculous election results in states like PA
