One of the main reasons for the current low uptake of the COVID mRNA bivalent booster (less than 43 million doses administered) is the scary anecdotes of side effects overreported in the media.
These stories are not effectively countered by presenting unexciting low-risk data, or the equally boring but true knowledge that the more immunity you have the better off you are against COVID’s short- or long-term side effects. You will likely get less sick and you will recover more quickly and completely.
But fear of a rare side effect overcomes reasoned reassurance every time.
There is also some evidence that the mRNA vaccines still decrease viral load and therefore slow spread at least short term, but of course, no one is megaphoning this important data. Perhaps the whole idea of countering emotion with logic is destined to fail because emotion is a far more powerful response deep in the human brain. Perhaps the emotional narrative of teens rarely developing myocarditis from the jab (latest Israel data of 4.8 cases per 100,000 persons) can only be countered by the far the more common devastating stories of heart or lung or brain problems from the virus itself.
In my practice, I have certainly seen many cases of the latter and none of the former.

“But it’s something that we as public health officials need to take very seriously… It isn’t something the American public needs to worry about or be frightened about.”
One of the things that was most telling to me was the demand
that children and young adults get these vaccines and boosters.
Young people seldom came down with it, and children almost
never did. The mortality rates on those who did, were almost
zero. So why demand they get the shots?
The government agencies have nobody to blame but themselves
for people not trusting them.
This stood out to me the moment they tried to get all
kids vaccinated.
It was as if something was in these shots that had nothing
to do with Covid.
It almost seems as if they were trying to damage the
children of America, so that they couldn’t be expected
to serve in the military when they grew up.
I certainly can’t prove that, but something was the driving
force here, and Covid certainly wasn’t it.
I wonder what our armed services are seeing when it comes
to recruits who have had the full series of vaccines and
boosters.
It will also be interesting to see what happens as our
young kids grow up to be military age, and who they can
function in our armed services.

Seems like there needs to be a public hotline that the
government has no access to.
All the negative effects need to be documented.
Personally, I never felt an illness per se, but I did have
something going on across my chest for about 15 months.
They did talk about heart and lung sacks becoming inflamed
or some such, and that’s what it seemed like to me. It
just wasn’t there after a period of time, but I did feel
it for over a year.

My brother says the only place they have heard of problems with the vaccines is from me.
My wife had her third booster a few months ago and within ten days was exhibiting Parkinson’s symptoms. The Parkinson’s med does not appear to be helping.
Even clearer is the paragraph before.
"In a given area the plague accomplished its kill within four to six months and then faded, except in larger cities, where, rooting into the close quartered population, it abated during the winter, only to reappear in spring and rage for another six months."
So the Black Plague was over in at most two warm seasons across one winter. Yet here we are after Spring and Summer of 2020, and Spring and Summer of 2021 and Spring and Summer of 2022 and COVID-19 is still raging according implications in news reports. There must be a problem with modern medicine since the results are in this particular way inferior to the medieval results.
The Black Plague killed an estimated 1/3 of the population of Europe. Yet the Georgia Guidestones inform us that the bien pensants want to reduce world population to 500,000,000. With the current number of souls alive at 8 billion, that means a 93.75% wipeout of humanity. This is a Holocaust level wipeout. Does anyone think that he himself has a good chance of surviving a Holocaust?
Now the media has pushed the implication that only 1/2 of humanity will die from the COVID plague. This was stated in a number of media articles, and is a result still inferior to medieval exerience. Of course what many suspect is that it is the "vaccines" or the Jim Jones jab, that has caused and will be causing almost all the death and destruction.
Reported statistics are now saying that the COVID-19 virus has a kill rate of 0.08%. Where are the remainder 49.92% dead going to come from?
