Last week, we looked at the story of an actual domestic terror attack on a pair of electric substations in North Carolina. We still have no idea who the person (or people) who carried out that attack were, but law enforcement is continuing to investigate. As it turns out, however, North Carolina was far from the only state to witness attacks in this fashion. Between January and August of this year, there were 106 reported attacks on power stations, substations, and other elements of the power grid. And they’re happening all over the country. Fortunately, few have been as effective as the North Carolina attack, which knocked out the power in most of two counties. So is this all just random or are we seeing a coordinated, national assault unfolding? (End of the American Dream)
Someone has been attacking power plants all over the country, and federal authorities are trying to determine who it is. In recent days, we have seen significant sabotage on both the east and west coasts, so it can’t just be one individual that is responsible. During the first eight months of this year, there were a total of 106 attacks on the electrical grid in the United States, and that represents the highest number ever recorded in a single year.Hopefully, authorities will be able to get to the bottom of this mystery, because winter will soon officially begin. If the power goes out in your neck of the woods for an extended period of time during the months ahead, what will you do?
Nobody is trying to claim that the string of attacks that we have been witnessing is “accidental”, and ABC News is reporting that “federal authorities are investigating” this very disturbing trend.
As noted above, the timing of the two attacks in North Carolina makes it almost impossible for one person to have been responsible for both. It’s also highly unlikely that the two shooting incidents were mere coincidence, so we’re probably looking at at least two terrorists working in unison. But are they part of a larger network that’s operating all over the country or are these just examples of copycat attacks?
If there really is such a network, they must be coordinating in some fashion. Perhaps federal authorities will be able to track them down on the dark web or social media or however else they might be plotting. Winter is almost here, and this could turn into a potentially lethal situation.
Even though officials in North Carolina aren’t speculating about suspects at this point, that’s not stopping others from raising their own suspicions. As the linked report informs us, when you can’t find any other suspects, the easiest thing to do is blame the right-wing mega MAGA people. There was apparently a drag show taking place at the time of the North Carolina attacks, so it’s being suggested that it may have been an attack on the LGBTQ community.
An LGBTQ nonprofit in North Carolina had set up a drag show at the Sunrise Theater in Southern Pines on Saturday night around the same time when the electric facilities were targeted with gunfire around 7 pm…Investigators are now determining if the backlash the 18 or older show received leading up to the performance led to the targeted attack.
Since we don’t have any suspects identified yet, I suppose it’s impossible to rule anyone out entirely. But with that said… give me a break. If a couple of guys who were opposed to the drag show (which didn’t involve children) were responsible, why would they coordinate separate attacks to knock out all of the power in two counties? Why not just knock out the power in the town where the drag show was taking place?
I’m fully ready to admit that I was wrong if that turns out to be the answer to this mystery, but it just sounds unlikely in the extreme. Whoever did this knocked out the power to tens of thousands of people for the better part of a week. That number would almost certainly have included many people of the same ideological persuasion as the attackers. Since everyone is apparently being invited to offer their own guesses, I’ll make one of my own. That attack affected everyone in the entire area. To me, that sounds like the work of anarchists. And that brings Antifa to mind. Perhaps that won’t be the answer, but it’s certainly at least as good as writing off yet again to the mega-MAGA people.
yeep.
And chislam, another hallmark of the global obamanites. It’s aabout bringing the west down.
Don’t leave out the religion of pieces ... two years of 10m per month influx of human scum surely includes lots of fanatics with training on infrastructure attack methodology. These attacks may by merely dry runs that measure the defenses in place and response time of fire/LEO personnel.
It would be odd to think that the ‘greenies’ are responsible. After all don’t they want an all electric future?
those who are promoting domestic terrorism
Them Duke Boys or similar are shooting up those substations after drinking some moonshine. Ye Hawwwww.
1. Greenies, aka environmental terrorists
Yep, they’re gluing themselves to or otherwise vandalizing classical artworks in the UK/EU. Our 2020 Summer of love and the free-for-all in the PNW has them more emboldened over here.
I think it is more likely to be people sponsored by the FBI.
Informative personal experience. Thanks for posting.
Who’s doing it? I notice that nobody has posted that pic of the FBI guys at the rally pretending to be not FBI guys.
Based on the lack of evidence to the contrary, Occam’s razor suggests an alphabet agency of the government is involved.
The source of most of our electricity is carbon fuels. They’re against that. You’re not aware of one or both of those facts?
if it is a network, they must be doing a unique method of communicating, unless the feds are asleep at the switch which is possible.
This has occurred over time at various locations. Not sure how they will protect the equipment but it appears plans need to be made.
Damaged transformer emptied of cooling oil by shooting
Transmission, distribution, and substation transformers now have a two-year lead time for orders.
This is far more problematic than first glance...
Since it's probably them.
I’d go with “FBI agents”.
My suspicions, in order of possibility:
1. Greenies, aka environmental terrorists
2. The Deep State, doing a bit of false-flag work
3. Various good ol’ boys, just funnin’ around
4. Chinese agents probing our infrastructure for weakness

#1: AQ, Iranian, or affiliated. Just imagine who is among the 1 million known ‘get-aways’ that recently crossed the Southern border and ended up in some Jihadi training camp somewhere in the US.
There were other attacks several years back and no one was ID.
Let’s review the possibilities.
1. Maga folks who want to spend their days in darkness and cold.
2. radical environmentalists who want to close down all fuel burning power plants, or
3.Foreign terrorists who got in over the border as some of the 900,000 “getaways” who didn’t want to turn themselves in and be identified.
