Yep. Support on the FR for someone who attacks Christians. What’s next?
“ Russia persecutes evangelicals:”
Then we need to stop sending billions of dollars in financial and military aid to Russia. Oh wait, we’re not sending any aid to them - so your post is irrelevant. It would relevant if I wanted Biden to send your tax dollars to corrupt Russian offials, but I don’t
Meanwhile you support Biden sending my tax dollars sent to corrupt Ukrainian officials .
That's a lie.
Russia has been using control of Orthodoxy for centuries to control Belarus and Ukraine. This is not new, and anyone who knows he history of the region understands this. Ukraine is not suppressing Christianity as a religion, just the Orthodox Church aligned with Russia. All other Christian denominations in Ukraine are completely unaffected. Ukraine is at war, and people affiliated with the enemy, such as the Russian Orthodox Church, are suspect. Anyone affected is free to file a case with the European Court of Human Rights.
He is JEWISH...I think he is anti Christian. .
You forgot your SARCASM TAG!
“Appears the same in Ukraine, western puppet going after Christians.”
He closed down the RUSSIAN Orthodox Church, which is basically an arm of the Russian government. Have you seen the photos of Russian Orthodox priests blessing nuclear missiles at some parade not too long ago? The ROC is home to many former KGB and current FSB and SVR personnel.
“Tucker’s attacks on Zelensky are almost childishly shallow. For example attacking him for wearing a sweatshirt.”
Tucker has had his good moments, but this appears not to be one of them.
You'd have to be a Conservative and an American to get it.
Ukraine ping

While it would be better for all concerned if Russia hadn’t invaded Ukraine, its invasion does present an opportunity to degrade the Russian economy and the appetite of the Russian people and their rulers for foreign military conquests. Defeat in Afghanistan had a similar impact, such that Russian military adventures abroad ended for almost 2 decades - until its invasion of Georgia in 2008. The long-term effect of a defeat in Ukraine is likely to be more long-lasting, simply because it has been much more costly in men and equipment so far, and all in under a single year.
If defeat results in the dissolution of the Russian federation into dozens of independent states, that would be a salutary result. Ukraine will have done the world a great service by indirectly breaking up one of the last great despotic empires.
It would have been nice if Russia had become a free country that respected its neighbors’ borders and played nice with everyone. But perhaps a sprawling multi-ethnic empire like that can only be held together by brute force. So it is better that each of its components goes its own way, if that is the only way liberty can reign over each component of that sprawling land mass.
—”Tucker’s attacks on Zelensky are almost childishly shallow. “
Tucker Carlson and most pundits/news readers of any stripe, always have one eve on the ratings and respond accordingly.
Perhaps Mr Carlson wants to purchase his own island and needs some extra cash?
Isn’t Zelensky a Christian?
Again, +1
One of the few things you’ve said here at FR I would totally agree with, Williams. You’ve hit on the truth.
Zelensky IS trying to eliminate the “russian based religion” in Ukraine which, unfortunately for Ukrainian Orthodox people, is THEIR religion, and has been for very long time.
Can the one worlders destroy Eastern Orthodoxy? We will see, but I don’t think so.
No, he’s Jewish.
Zelensky continues to provoke.
He and Ukraine are holding NATO support as a hostage. What Zelensky and Ukraine will do in anger, when Zelensky does not get what he wants, is a big problem.
“I support Assad because he allows the Christians to exist in Syria.”
Yet Syria also funds Hezbollah who slaughter Christians in Lebanon.
“the regime there has used a fair amount of “emergency actions” to consolidate power in a very undemocratic manner”
None of their actions have been much different than actions every country (including the U.S.) have taken for internal security during wartime.
