Fox News contributor and former Trump adviser Kellyanne Conway said Wednesday on Fox Business Network’s “Kudlow” that voters want a president to talk about their grievances, not his own, like the former president’s remarks about suspending the Constitution over the 2020 presidential election.
Host Larry Kudlow said, “This business about suspending the Constitution because we learned there was free speech by finagling with Twitter. I mean, come on. You don’t suspend the Constitution. And he’s got to get off 2020. He just has to.”
Conway said, “Look, I think elections are always about the future, not the past. People want presidential candidates, particularly a former president who was successful on energy, economy, national security, so many other issues. They want that person to talk about the people’s grievances and not their own.”

Well said ladyjane!!
Fickle.
Yup, her concerns are irrelevant.
Yeah, let's not talk about corruption, or the stealing of elections that is methodically bringing about the destruction of our God-given rights, and our beloved country. By ignoring it, remaining silent about it, and moving on, you are condoning it. That is a true sign of weakness.
She ran a great campaign for Donald Trump in '16. Too bad she's no longer relevant because her teenager daughter seeks to embarrass her mother every time.
Trump got himself elected. I didn't vote for Kellyanne. I voted for Donald Trump twice. I voted for the man because he wasn't afraid to speak his mind. He's a fighter, and all the GOP had ever given us in the past were mealy-mouthed, gutless wonders. Kellyanne had nothing to do with that.
LOL
Could say the same for that woman I used to respect, who is
married to James Carville.
If we look at the larger context, she was referencing candidates (plural) in general and not Trump in particular. Because the noun was neither identified as a man or woman, she used the correct pronoun.
I understand your concern and I presume that you can find verbal hiccups irritating. Phrases such as would of, could of, should of, ain’t, kinda like, and people that put themselves first (me and my friend, I and my mom) all grate on my nerves.
When will people be sick of them talking about something and want something actually accomplished?
Ouch!
Kellyanne Conway is the new MoveOn.org.
“Trump may have one of the most difficult personalities to get along with, but, when it comes to policies and getting things done, there has never been anyone better.”
Dang straight and then some!
Started to pay attention to politics when I discovered Buckley on Firing Line when I was in middle school 55 years ago.
Held my nose the first time voted for Trump. 2nd time I was broken glass.
She is correct.
In addition, Trump won in 2016 by telling us his vision for the future, by praising this country’s values and those who created and upheld them. Forget the past, except insofar as it helps to point a better path to the future. People love an optimistic person with a vision, and won’t be motivated to vote by someone who doesn’t concentrate on those things.
Please, President Trump, listen to Kellyanne.
HIS GRIEVANCES ARE OUR GRIEVANCES!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
If you weren’t so quick to undermine him you might see that…..( but I doubt it)
Go home and invest in your family, Kellyanne, they need help and your 15 minutes are over!
No she does not. She makes a phony deep state point. Trump has actually not once substituted any personal grievances for “the people’s grievances”—and why is she using such communistic language?
Conway said, “Look, I think elections are always about the future, not the past.” …Pure deep state, and Obama-ish, rhetoric.
Fraud denial, I see.
Frankly, she’s showing that it is not a bad marriage from her perspective. She and George appear to be soulmates.
This.
