I don’t get it. If they POST a worker at the exit that checks the receipt against a couple of the items that are in the bags, then this would stop. But I doubt they want to pay for the worker (Sam’s does it). Seems like a worker would be cheaper than the amount of the theft.

1. Destroyed by store openings and ever widening product veriticals the local entrepreneurial merchant/service classes.
2. Destroyed the American small industrial class by knocking off anything novel with overseas copies or generics.
3. Used government benefit programs to keep their minimum wage part time staff from starving....let the taxpayers feed them.
4. Backing every looney tune woke virtue signaling sophistry that someone else was paying for....

Some Walmart’s have security guards patrolling and others don’t that is your guidepost as to which stores may end up closing.
It’s partly WalMart’s own faule.
The signs at their self-checkout stations say “Scan and Go”; whereas “Scan, PAY and Go” would be much more instructive.
