Hey! There are white tipped reef sharks, black tipped reef sharks, black nose sharks, brown shysharks, blue sharks, grey reef sharks, tawny nurse sharks, bronze whalers, dusky sharks, bluegrey carpet sharks, and Great White sharks.

I'd call that highly diverse!

This piece bizarrely fails to mention that perhaps the most important ethologist / biologist in the history of the study of sharks was Eugenie Clark, a woman. Recommend PBS’ multiple Emmy Award winning movie GREAT WHITE SHARK.

Didn’t a noted black racist congressman or senator claim several years ago claim that millions of black slaves were fed to the sharks on the boat trip from Wakanda to America and that even today sharks prefer dark meat? Seems like they are already popular and fairly represented in the shark world.
