Except the music he knew and loved from years back.

His brain and memory filled in the blanks.

Thanks for posting the picture. Miss that guy.

That would be a good location for such a device. 😁

God has given us a lot of leeway and shown great patience in letting us muck things up before intervening.

However, He has also given us reason, so we can sort it out and persevere during the weighty times.

I think God will likely wait a long time before sending back His Son. Regardless, vigilance is our calling.

I don't wish to return to medieval medicine.

However, we needn't even go to things like chips in heads or even the covid shots. There is a lot of darkness in the open.

For example, a friend's father was recently hospitalized with a heart attack and hooked up to machines. The attending doctor didn't think the old man would make it. My friend, respecting Dad's wishes to not be on machines, signed a paper approving the de-machining and putting the Dad on "comfort care" which (IN GENERAL) is basically no curative care. That was ok - that was the dad's wishes.

The old man pulled through, but the hospital refused to put Dad back on fluids or nutrition because - you guessed it - "comfort care" IN THAT HOSPITAL and for THAT DOCTOR is effectively Terri Schaivo-style starvation and dehydration. The said food and water was "curative."

Yup...my friend was stunned. And the attending and her team wouldn't budge.

It took a virtual miracle whereby a different doctor intervened, said the father clearly wasn't terminal and put the old man back on nutrition and fluids.

I can defend against head-chipping and shots...that darkness is in the open.

Euthanasia is, technically, illegal. But if you're not careful with Fine Print or vetting the "mercy killing" mindset of the attending, a lifetime of serving our Lord can be snuffed by Dark Forces.

I have to admit, I dont get the reference to "Chuck" or recognize your pic. Please let me in on the joke.

PS, she needs to work on her grip. Thumbs way too far down on the backstrap, tea-cupping. Bad for recoil control. Oh, and the gun looks like it could use some suppressor sights.

When one thinks about it most modern medical practices, ie, surgery, medicines, etc., are not normal.

These implants offer hope to many who suffer from paralysis, blindness, etc. Sure, there are dangers but that is always true of any medical procedure.

This has been going on for years. My friend has MS and she agreed to an experiment of this same type. It didn't work...but she does not regret her decision.

A family member was born deaf..and has an implant near his ear...very visible. He can shut it off....and does so when things are hairy...like a thunder storm...

I support Musk 100%.

It will morph from good intentions and helping the disabled to something nefarious. Everything the government touches turns to poop.

Like any thing, humans will think of ways to use it for good— or for evil.
Even if the thing can think!

So we should go back to the days of blood letting? We have made so much progress in medicine. Friends have had stents put in...A friend had the first pacemaker and lived 20 years to tell about it. A family member had an enlarged heart and had a transplant.

I had cataract surgery in the last couple years. I was almost blind in one eye. Amazing surgery.

We've come a long way baby...I hope we never lose our incentive to advance in this field.

Blood letting, those are the only two choices?
You’re more intelligent than to say the issue is binary.
When I say my support, I don’t mean that I think it should be illegal.
Just I want no part of it.
I think sick people should be allowed to use/try whatever if they sign a waiver.

“Chuck” TV series

When a computer geek inadvertently downloads critical government secrets into his brain, both the CIA and the NSA assign an agent to protect him and exploit his newfound skills.

“Sarah Walker” was his CIA handler....and the actress in photo I posted

A clever & entertaining 5-season series

Ok, thanks for that. I guess thats the downside of me not watching pretty much anything on the alphabet networks in at least a decade now...Looks like its only on pay channels at this point. Maybe it will come to a free streaming channel in the future.

That is alarming.

That the medical profession should so abandon the “first do no harm” mentality to becoming outright merchants of death, deliberately killing people off, is staggering.

I love what Musk is doing with Twitter and signed up solely to show my support. Gonna take a hard pass here, though.
