Former GOP House Speaker Paul Ryan is offering two reasons why GOP voters should walk away from President Donald Trump’s 2024 presidential primary campaign.
“We want to win,” the establishment champion told ABC News’ This Week on November 20. Trump “is going to continue to lose altitude” in primary polls because “he’s unelectable because [of] that suburban voter.”

What he doesn’t mention is that a major factor in the House GOP debacle in 2018 was the massive loss of suburban seats in places like New York, New Jersey, Virginia and California due to the state and local tax (SALT) cap that was written into Ryan’s 2017 budget bill.
The GOP only managed to win some of those seats back in 2022 because the Democrats had two years to follow through on their 2018 and 2020 campaign promises to eliminate the SALT cap, but didn’t do it.
If the new House with a narrow Republican majority doesn’t figure out how to get that issue fixed, I predict the party will suffer losses in 2024 in those same districts.

It’s a lie, Ryan does not want to ‘win’, he doesn’t want any disruptions in the Swamp, which means stopping Trump and MAGA, and letting the democrats win.
All the pending investigations that McCarthy has promised is nothing but a misdirect. They are designed to pretend that they’re doing something about corruption in DC, and the investigations will drag on and on until everybody is tired of hearing about them, like Mueller and Barr. A complete waste of time.
There is only one investigation that matters, and that is the investigation into the massive fraud surrounding the stolen 2020 election. They keep calling MAGA candidates ‘election deniers’, but they won’t give Trump the one thing that will prove his allegations of fraud, and that would be to give him his day in court. Since no court anywhere in the US has given Trump what they rushed to give Al Gore in 2000, the new republican majority should focus ALL of their efforts at uncovering the truth of 2020.
This would solve every single problem facing the US immediately, and serve to prove that Trump did in fact win in 2020. The people who stole that election would not only be exposed for the corrupt liars and cheats that they really are, but charges of treason would follow.
