They only think they know how many carry.......many won’t answer or answer no because it’s nobody’s damn business if I have a weapon or not.
I’ve had a CCW for 30 years. In the last few years I’ve stopped carrying routinely because I no longer need to pass through had neighborhoods.
If I sense trouble in the air this would change quickly. As it would for most gun owners.

What did they think was going to happen when many police department have been decimated and the Democratic AGs refuse to prosecute criminals? People will defend themselves and their families if the government won’t.

In the state of Georgia this year Governor Brian Kemp signed a bill into law that makes permitless-carry legal. I’m in Atlanta for a week doing my biz and was talking to a Convenience Store/Gas Station owner. He said “we ask for ID and they lift their shirt up and show the gun (motions with his hand lifting his shirt)”. Everyone that shouldn’t have a gun in Georgia has one and its the blacks killing blacks where it manifests most. Today three unrelated CS/Gas places was a gun-related topic going on. One place a niggly bear was mad because he couldn’t get a refund on cigars he didnt like and he had his semi-auto out. I saw this as the workers were playing back the security cam video from earlier that day. Glad I missed the excitement.

During the BLM/Antifa riots of 2019 I traded my carry weapon, a Glock 36 (45ACP 7+1) for an FN 5.7x28 20+1. Also, my “Truck Gun” was a Ruger .357, now it’s a KelTec PMR 30 (22 Mag 30+1). I can fire 52 rounds without swapping a mag, and I have 122 rounds loaded.
The inevitable attempt to disarm the population called ‘civilian disarmament’ is probably the one thing that will produce the sort of multi foci armed resistance the national government cannot suppress and could grow into something much bigger and much more unpleasant.
