Richard M. Fierro, who served for 15 years in the military, was at the nightclub in Colorado Springs with his family when the gunman opened fire. “I just knew I had to take him down,” he said.

It’s not his penchant, his daughter had a former high school friend in the show, he was there to support his child. His daughter is 22.
In this new woke era, he was hoping that he could get a promotion.
There are liberals in the military (Tulsi)... glad his training kicked in. Lots of fluff in the article.
I heard on the ‘Chris Plante Show’ (WMAL-DC) this morning that his daughter’s husband was in the drag/fag queen show. Is that right?
I’m not a big believer in Army “majors” who got out with only 15 years. I’m taking this with a grain of salt.
Yeah, sure. All the Vets I know with PTSD eventually end up in gay bars with their families to watch family friends perform in drag. Ya know, just another night out.
Something's not right with this story.
One of the dead dancers was his daughter’s “trans boyfriend”, whatever that means. Fierro, his wife and daughter were at the club to support him.
Wrong place at the right time.
Just from the description....it didn’t sound like the attack-guy knew much on firearms. I’d be asking if the guy had been drug-tested....probably on something.

Wrong.

.....Fierro was at the nightclub with his wife, his daughter Kassy, her boyfriend and several other friends to celebrate the birthday of Kassy’s childhood friend who was performing in the drag show that night.
.....
Police identified the victims as Kelly Loving, 40; Daniel Aston, 28; Derrick Rump, Ashley Paugh, 35; and Raymond Green, 22.
Fierro said Raymond had been with his daughter for six years and was considered part of the family.
.....
“We lost Raymond, and he was part of our family, he was my daughter’s boyfriend, and Raymond was a great young man.....”

A relative was in the show.
Half the patrons there that evening were straight.
Why does it matter?
Innocent human beings were slaughtered by a fat white incel.
“Boyfriend” and “childhood friend” are two different people.
Ditto
“...Kassy, her boyfriend and several other friends to celebrate the birthday of Kassy’s childhood friend...”
Let’s see, we have Kasey, her boyfriend Raymond and Kasey’s friend.
That would be at least three people.
If this retired major wasn’t there, more would have been killed. They can all be thankful for that.
—”This guy is a lion.”
HEAR! HEAR!
“Why is an ex-Army Major taking his wife and daughter to a drag show at a homosexual club in the first place???”
Øbowels brave new hσmosexual military, don’t you know?
Well, two friends of mine went to a drag queen show several times about 12 years ago. It was near the Quarter, and it was to get a night out and some entertainment. She and her husband had a cleaning business and knew the two owners personally. It was entertaining, and they had raffles, free food, and we would get free drinks. We certainly didn’t want to go to a night club like we did in our twenties. Probably somewhat different than today’s drag queen shows.
The shooter was a meth addict.
