Army Veteran Went Into ‘Combat Mode’ to Disarm the Club Q Gunman

Richard M. Fierro, who served for 15 years in the military, was at the nightclub in Colorado Springs with his family when the gunman opened fire. “I just knew I had to take him down,” he said.

This is still a fascinating story. 5 people were killed. The two bartenders, 2 women, one other male. 3 of them were straight. Why was the guy targeting the bartenders? And were the others collateral damage that just happened to get in the way? I am beginning to suspect there is another story here. And the shooter may have had history here.

From reading the accounts, they were there because a friend of the daughter was in the drag show. The family is straight, but the friend is not.

Let us take a moment to honor a real hero. Not the kind so often lionized by the maniacal, trigger-happy fools who scream "Dulce et Decorum Est" from the rooftops. Not the spooky right-wingers, the snipers, the race supremists who swarmed in their tens of thousands through Bagdad. Those monsters were worthy of nary a word in this august journal. Oh! What a blessing it is that men of real courage, men like our Commander in Chief who brought us, like a Good Shepherd, from the depths of Afghanistan, men such as those who take their kids to drag shows - real men - men worthy of praise, true praise - oh what a blessing from the gods of shiftless globalism and moral relativism it is to have such heroes among us!

I perhaps attribute the glowing descriptions of the event and of those viewing it to the likes of the ‘reporter,’ or of his adherence to some code of conduct when reporting re lgbq-whatever subjects.

But the father, saying something like “let them (young people today) do what the hell ever they want,” doesn’t bode well for the upbringing of the children.

Good point. Not too many years ago, a neighbor asked us if we wanted to go with them to see their son perform in a play. The son was about 21 years old. We asked what the play was about, and were shocked to hear that he would be performing nude. "No thanks!" we said, not our type of event to see. After that time, we could never look at the family the same way. No way would I want to see my kids performing nude in a play.

I read elsewhere that the shooter must have weighed 300 lbs. What a sight! When the Vet had him down he yelled at one of the cross dressers to stomp on him with “her” high heels.

Yep. They used the word “her” for a man dressed as a woman.
