Embattled Trump rips McConnell for GOP spending but doles out little of his own cash

Former President Donald Trump – who himself has come under fire for Republicans’ lackluster performance in the midterm elections – is blaming Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnell for the party’s apparent failure to flip the chamber’s majority in its favor.

“Mitch McConnell, the Republicans Broken Down Senate Leader, does nothing about this,” Trump on social media Friday night. “He’s too busy spending vast amounts of money on bad Senator Lisa [Murkowski] of Alaska when Kelly [Tshibaka] is FAR better.”

Yet Trump’s own spending choices in this year’s midterm elections have also drawn criticism.

HIS CASH is for his PAC. Why is it his responsibility to fund everything....where is the constant looser party pac money? Oh yeah, for Cocain Mitch and the rinos to make sure they loose every damn time. Then they get invited to the parties.

He did. The rallies cost him about a million each.

Rupert Murdoch is all in for Ron DeSantis. Me too.

Nope you're still in denial. New Hampshire, Iowa and Florida will vote for DeSantis in the primary. He'll get momentum quickly. Trump will be seen as a lover. I think there's a 50/50 chance he'll back out and not run at all.

McC put money behind candidates that will vote to keep him pubbie leader in the Senate and withheld money from MAGA candidates. He’s worse than the dems, a real backstabber. Happy to keep pubbies in second place. He’s a traitor.

So what about all that money he’s raised, something like 100 million. He should have spent some of that helping candidates with ad time, etc. Just showing up and spending 5 minutes saying vote for for this guy and then spending the next hour rehashing his election loss sure doesn’t seem to be helping anybody.

Either he’s going to help potential candidates monetarily or is he just fund raising for his own ends.?? Ask yourselves how many fund raising emails a day do you get from trump asking for more money.

NYPost has become WAPO?! This is coordinated. Lindell was talking today about massive vote stealing...Interesting segment on Wayne Allyn Root’s RAV program:

McConnell never used his money—Any money he gave to his chosen pets were either from his war chest, RNC, RNC Senate, etc. He used campaign donations.

Trump likely used dollars from some campaign-type organization. He campaigned giving his time and money to many candidates that way. Especially the last week of the primary campaign...

Shame there seem to be so many fair-weather friends here on FR :(

Trump’s PAC is a generic political action committee.

McConnell’s PAC is the Senate Leadership Fund, and was established to support GOP Senate candidates.

It was an absolute travesty for that PAC to spend a penny on the campaign of a fake Republican candidate like Murkowski in a race where the GOP could not possibly lose.

McConnell and McCarthy also did 100 rallies for republicans.
Except no one showed up since those were held in McConnell’s basement.

His WAR CHEST is for his potential run. He is NOT the RNC.

Money should have come from McConnell and the RNC. Trump was out several nights a week holding rallies all over the country raising money for candidates. How much did he spend on fundraising?

You’ll notice that the immigrants shipped to Martha’s Vineyard have disappeared from the news. And in the last 48 hours it was announced that New York City has closed down their temporary shelters where the immigrants were being housed.

That’s because it was all just a political stunt after all, and it ended on Election Day.

MTG put it clearly this morning>
over 200 endorsements, dozens of rallies and fundraisers which netted $350 million for midterm candidates.

Trump did the work, and he didn’t run these campaigns, the party did.

Embattled Murdoch empire - increasingly led by far left Lachlan Murdoch - tries once again to take out Trump after failing the first time back in 2016.

“Call me crazy but when you win, people support you. When you keep losing, people start to move on.”

Many recognize a winner whose had his event stolen by cheaters and who is willing to get back in.

You can pretend DeSantis would be a great defender of the constitution but Trump came in on day one of his political life stating he would do just that

DeSantis says for now he wants to run Florida

That keeps him in the running for president which the media speculates that DeSantis has not denied. That’s coy

Coy is a positive attribute in very few situations. Not in this one

He has not at all supported Trump nor MAGA in this election cycle nor assisted others in attaining a sweep he enjoyed in Florida

Those who want to wait to see what he is about, which we do not know yet, are just being critical thinkers. They are quite used to being slammed for thinking on their own

But they will stand up for themselves

DeSantis needs to do like Reagan. Use his influence as governor to transform the GOP at a national level, he cannot do that and run in 2024 while still relying on the current GOPe, there just isn’t enough time. Fulfill his term and by the time it’s up, hopefully his Allie’s will have yanked control of the National GOP from the current bunch of losers.
