Embattled Trump rips McConnell for GOP spending but doles out little of his own cash

Former President Donald Trump – who himself has come under fire for Republicans’ lackluster performance in the midterm elections – is blaming Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnell for the party’s apparent failure to flip the chamber’s majority in its favor.

“Mitch McConnell, the Republicans Broken Down Senate Leader, does nothing about this,” Trump on social media Friday night. “He’s too busy spending vast amounts of money on bad Senator Lisa [Murkowski] of Alaska when Kelly [Tshibaka] is FAR better.”

Yet Trump’s own spending choices in this year’s midterm elections have also drawn criticism.

The NY Post is back to their anti-trump ways, and are obviously pushing for the GOPe RINO tool DeSantis now.

And that is exactly why McCarthy and Cocaine Mitch worked so hard to undermine Trump endorsed candidates this cycle.

They are a big part of the problem, but let’s not fall for the rest of the con they are playing with the vile never Trump cabal of the National Man-Boy Lincoln Project goons. They’re tainting DeSantis by endorsing him, even as McConnel tries to lure him into the Never-Trump camp with promises of party support, money, and entre into the old-boys club.

So far, DeSantis and Youngkin are standing firm.

Trump needs to remain the face of the MAGA movement. With all of his flaws, there’s no one else to stand in the breech, and he deserves continuing support from the base.

Why did McConnell send $9 million to Alaska to support Murkowski against Kelly Tzilbaka (sp?) when both are Republicans? Why did McConnell not fund Masters when a few million dollars might have pulled him over the top, cheating not withstanding? Ditto for Laxalt. There was sabotage, but the saboteurs were McConnell, Graham, and McCarthy, not Trump.

Here’s the distinction:

Trump’s money is his money. That is, his own money he earned or invested and got a return on.

McConnell’s money is not his own. Unless you’re talking about the Red Chinese money he got from his wife. The money McConnell has is what donors, big and little, gave him to help Republicans win. He should have spent every penny of it on Republicans, whomever endorsed them.

"Why are the MSM, the Establishment GOP, the Never-Trumpers clamoring to DeSantis?"

So they can atempt to destroy him next. DeSantis will be their new boogieman.

DeSantis is a RINO!

You're a freakin' retard.

DeSantis fights and wins. He fought Disney. The GOP Establishment cried. He shipped immigrants to Martha's Vineyard. The GOP Establishment cried. He fought the school boards. The GOP Establishment cried. He embraced conservative social issues. The GOP Establishment cried.

Every step of the way the GOP Establishment told him he was going too far and yet he won. He won every battle he took on and was re-elected in a massive historical landslide.

That is how I see it. If you identify yourself as a D or and R, then THEY got you. The game is MAGA or the MMFM party....that is make money for me party. America first always. The politicians? last in the hearts of Patriots.

I just read the article, and I think the criticism is that he didn’t spend enough of his PAC’s money, not his own personal money.

“In October, Trump dug into his massive $92 million war chest to send $20 million to an allied super PAC backing his endorsed Senate candidates he endorsed, Bloomberg News reported — a measly 22% of his accumulated funds.”

And there I was thinking the RNC helped candidates for office financially and all along it is Republicans themselves who are supposed to cough up the dough.

Who knew! /sarcasm

How much Cash did it cost Trump to fly his jet all over America for his Rally’s? And who paid for those Rally’s?
Trump spent lots of his own money and these hit pieces are part of a coordinated agenda to wipe out MAGA. Don’t fall for it.

President Trump raised nearly $350 million this election cycle for Republican candidates.

What did he do with it?

He certainly didn't give it out to the actual candidates running.

Trump helped raise over $300 MILLION, candidates got a cut, the RNC got a cut, and his PAC got a cut. His PAC spent about $15 MILLION. All I heard during this cycle is McConnell, Rove and others complaining that Trump didn’t give them enough money or he didn’t help enough. It’s McConnell, McDaniel, and McCarthy who were supposed to do the fundraising and spend the money. We do know that McConnell spent several million to save Lisa Murkowski. We know he cut off funding to almost all of Trump’s endorsed candidates.

You can bet that all the anti-Trump screeds that came out on election night and the next day were pre-written.

Why should Trump spend his own money? It isn't his job to get quality folks elected. That job was supposed to be left to Yertle and Rona. Trump donated his time and his stamp of approval. That's way more than most private citizens do. This chit show lands squarely on RNC Leadership and McConnell!!
