I do NOT like Trump attacking DeSantis et al. I think DeSantis has done a good job. Why is Trump attacking DeSantis. Why does he have to attack good GOP people that we support?

I suspect the only reason Trump hasn't attacked Haley (yet) is two-fold: (1) he appointed her to work in his administration, and (2) he has to figure out how to attack her without coming across as a racist/sexist.

I refused to let freerepublic bring me down in 2016. but that meant staying off the site. Trump won in 2016.

If this doesn’t clear up, 2024 will be an unmitigated disaster for the United States. We’re almost at the point of no return right now.
A lot of the people pimping Governor Ron have unrealistic expectations and ulterior motives that will lead to severe disappointment - not just for them but for everyone. It’s not wrong to like him as a candidate or as a person, but it IS wrong to try to replace Trump - who should be president right now - with Governor Ron presented as a much nicer, cleaner, prettier substitute. It’s dishonest on his part, too, not to acknowledge voter fraud. He took bold steps against voter fraud in FL, and won. That’s what needs to happen everywhere.
And how did we find out about rampant voter fraud? Because Trump, who should have won in 2020, was run unceremoniously out of office by a gang of in-your-face criminals. Oh, well. No big deal. Let’s move on.

And I don’t watch TV. Not only do I not care what these fuds think, I am usually not even aware of what they’re saying until people on the internet tell me.
When I do become aware, they sound like a$$clowns almost 100% of the time.
Turn off the TV. Leave it turned off. You’ll feel a lot better. Your relationships, work, and health will improve.
