I cannot believe what I just read... You probably mis-read it. DeSantis is saying the GOP Establishment is dead wrong in their belief that open borders are needed to win the hispanic vote, NOT that he believes that open open borders are needed. He believes the opposite of the Establishment, and in closed borders.
