Agree. I am not sure just fine is how it will be for them, they have deep problems now and serious energy problems that are not easily solved. They have a large restive migrant population also.
I think Japan is a very good direction they will head in. A very long period of self inflicted pain. And I wonder what will happen there politically. Pretty much everyone there believes it was a US/Brit/Pole scheme to blow the Nordstream and there will be some anger coming with every cold shower.
Germany is freezing even in normal times.
I think we will see some form of Japanese Germany, and as Germany is barely able to care for itself, the southern EU nations will get more restive and lean towards an exit from the Euro which is collapsing.

And I think we aren’t going to escape either. They are already talking 750 billion plus to rebuild Ukraine. And of course, we will be funneling all kinds of cash to the EU to keep them in NATO.
In government math, that means 3 trillion more on the US national debt.
I hope you live somewhere warm FRiend!
Send them around to Hamburg. You go Georgia. Plant those high heels and tell the chermuns to pound sand. They aren’t the boss of you!
Yes, the Germans have not lost their arrogance yet. But their economic future is bleak. They will never admit it, but cheerleading cannot save them. They have destroyed their economy over wars and radical environmentalism and destructive immigration.
Even China snubbed them last week.
.
Well, yes - as individuals. Ride across Europe sharing a third-class couchette with five Germans, you can see that.
As they did with Matteo Salvini, they’re trying hard to paint Meloni as a radical fascist.
She’s restoring control of the borders.
I’m guessing in the next World War Germany will side with Iran and China...
You mean, “Vaffanculo”?
The first determined head of state who cries “Enough!” and begins to jail the NGOs as human traffickers will find him- or herself being given the Salvini treatment. The second one won’t.

Etymology
Contraction of va’ a fa’ ‘n culo, where fa’ and ‘n are dialectal variants for fare and in, respectively. Literally, “go do [it] in [the] a$$”
By having the rest of the EU pay them lots of money.
Quite familiar with it...
That sounds amazingly similar to Trump and his officials.
I already read this story. Jean Raspail foretold the future in “Camp of The Saints”.
I’ll forward your concern.
You sound envious.
Also. I’ve heard doom, and gloom preached about my country, and Germany on this site for 15 years. Still waiting. Do you have any stock market predictions also.
Post your newsletter. I’m think I might subscribe..😂
Better to own, than rent. 👍
Yet, no one is complaining about Spain, France, and Greece's refusal.
Me too, married a first gen Italian. I never seem to see it spelled right though. Probably because so many dialects and slightly different pronunciations. I also like stugots actually sto cazzo. my FIL also uses another one meaning roughly you’re killing me but I couldn’t come close to spelling or translating it the way he says it. got a lot of prime Sicilian ones from My MILs side. .
