Oz pulls ahead of Fetterman in two more post-debate Pa. Senate polls

Republican Dr. Mehmet Oz leads Democratic Lt. Gov. John Fetterman in their down-to-the-wire Pennsylvania Senate race, according to two polls taken after their debate last week that show the celebrity TV doctor gaining five percentage points on his Democratic rival since late summer.

Oz leads Fetterman by one percentage point (47.6% to 46.6%) in a Susquehanna Polling and Research survey and has a two-point lead (48% to 46%) in an Emerson College poll taken after their Oct. 25 showdown in Harrisburg.

Fetterman, Pennsylvania’s lieutenant governor, often struggled to answer questions that he read off a closed caption monitor as he continues to experience auditory processing problems from a stroke he suffered in May.

The Susquehanna survey, conducted between Oct. 28 and Nov. 1, found that Oz had erased the five-percentage point advantage Fetterman had in August — but 4% of voters say they are still undecided.

However, more than three-quarters (76%) of respondents said they either watched or read about the debate, in an ominous sign for the Democrat’s campaign

Let’s hope that the people of Pennsylvania are smart enough to vote for Dr. oz. Otherwise there is no hope for this country.

Too bad so many PA fools voted before the first debate even happened.

“4% of voters say they are still undecided.”

Seriously?
“Does 1 + 1 = 2?....4% of people are still undecided”

The People of Pennsylvania will vote in droves for Oz.

However, flabberMan will still “win”. What happened and is happening now in Brazil foretells the story in the US next week.

I get really pissed Fox News just had a poll showing Fetterman with a 3 or 4 point lead.

If it’s reality ok, but Fox polls always favor the Democrat in every race and it’s really annoying.

They always cheerfully announce their poll without ever acknowledging that other polls are saying something very different.

In a lot of races they cover stories like Republicans surging, or democrats worrying, without ever citing a poll because they know their Fox polls don’t reflect what’s happening.

However, more than three-quarters (76%) of respondents said they either watched or read about the debate . . .

There is some entertainment value in watching reruns of the Adams Family.

Only Lurch and Uncle Fester were more entertaining.

This is a race where I will just plain be embarrassed if Oz doesn’t win. Fetterman is the definition of a Loser. A blue collar wannabe who lived off his rich parents well into his 40s. Someone who did poorly at the two elected offices that he had (which weren’t that important to begin with). Oz, by contrast, is the definition of a smart, successful self-made man.

I watched Rich Baris’ podcast (from last night) this morning. He tore a Emerson and NYT/Sienna polls to shreds. He also went off on Nate Silver. If you want to make some bucks betting, bet the opposite of anything Silver says that isn’t aligned with Big Data (Baris), Trafalgar, or Rasmussen.

How can you be undecided at this point in time? That’s absurd...people lie to pollsters. I always do.

With early voting it doesn’t matter. At least half the people had already voted before the debate. Fetterman might have fallen down and drooled on the stage and it wouldn’t change anything.

REMEMBER:

Election day in Pennsylvania extends for a week to ten days (give or take). Demented Joe said as much last night. That said, I'm now betting all my chips on the Cyborg to win. Sorry Oz.

Our people need to hold ballot boxes back until democrats have turned in a majority of theirs... If dems don’t know how many ballots are needed for the ‘win’ it makes cheating harder and more obvious. Not that they ever cheat or anything...

Bingo. If you want some good laughs, visit Poindexter's House rating page:

https://projects.fivethirtyeight.com/2022-election-forecast/house/

They update the close race projections at least twice a day while pretending their computer-generated forecasts are sooooo sophisticated. Currently they are falling all over themselves shifting as much as they can towards the Democrats after faking to the right not long ago. It's hilarious.

They still have the GOP taking the House, but are starting to pretend that the "big Democrat comeback!!1!" is on. They have a few more days to accept reality, but they probably won't. OTOH exactly like 2020, there are numerous delusionals on both sides. Two years ago we were ever so confident that the loony left were the delusional ones. We're even more confident this time.

Many on this site are likely delusional about the GOP Senate chances and about certain Governor races, but there is no way Democrats retain the House barring the most massive vote fraud in history.
