Tom Brady and Gisele Bündchen finalized their divorce in recent days after 13 years of marriage, the Buccaneers quarterback announced on Instagram Friday.
“We arrived at this decision amicably and with gratitude for the time we spent together,” Brady wrote on his Instagram story. “We are blessed with beautiful and wonderful children who will continue to be the center of our world in every way. We will continue to work together as parent to always ensure they receive the love an attention they deserve.”
Reports of “marital issues” between Brady and Bündchen emerged after the seven-time Super Bowl champion un-retired shortly after walking away from the NFL following the 2021–22 season. Brady later took a leave of absence during training camp to “deal with personal things,” Bucs coach Todd Bowles said at the time.
Brady and Bündchen had reportedly been “living separately” prior to Friday’s announcement and CNN reported earlier this week that the couple had hired divorce attorneys.
“Doing so is, of course, painful and difficult, like it is for many people who go through the same thing every day around the world,” Brady continued on Instagram. “However, we wish only the best for each other as we pursue whatever new chapters in our lives are yet to be written.”
Bündchen released a similar statement on Instagram Friday, asking for privacy on the matter moving forward.
“The decision to end a marriage is never easy but we have grown apart and while it is, of course, difficult to go through something like this, I feel blessed for the time we had together and only wish the best for Tom always,” she wrote.
The couple had been married since 2009 and have two children together.

Interesting you brought that up- not sure if I deeply believe withcraft is effective- but it crossed my mind that he’s played very poorly since he decided to come back. Gisele’s Revenge? Seems farfetched. But most things seem odd these days.
The “beautiful and wonderful children” will now be lost and sad. Divorces solves nothing. Tom Brady, please read again the playbook of marriage.

I wondered why she was trying to call me. It all makes sense now.
I don’t see how anyone could consider her a great wife when she dissolved her marriage over what is essentially a hissy fit that she didn’t get her way. She strikes me as very self centered and controlling. It’s not like he neglected his family, he only worked half the year. Most normal men have to work long hours all year long. In the end she is the one who decided to break up their family and the blame should fall on her.

She has good reason to divorce Tom Brady.
He was off half the year, most Americans would kill for as much time at home as that. Most military wives live in near poverty and don't see their husbands for a year or more yet don't pitch a fit about it. She's a spoiled princess and he's better off without her.
She has more money than Tom and is very attractive on top of that. She'll be fine.
Spell? She does her ritual before every game. And that is the only the stuff that has been admitted.
What a crock. These two are what so many idiot parents want their kids to aspire to. Success, success, success! And here they are kaput. What about their kids?
