Pundits stunned by ‘painful’ Fetterman performance in Pa. Senate debate
NY Post ^ | October 26, 2022 | By Patrick Reilly

Longtime political observers were shocked by Democrat John Fetterman’s display in Tuesday night’s Senate debate against Dr. Mehmet Oz, in which the Pennsylvania lieutenant governor repeatedly stumbled over his words — and lapsed into incoherence on more than one occasion.

At one point the tattooed 53-year-old said, “I do not believe in supporting the Supreme Court” in response to a question about whether the high court should have its traditional nine justices.

In another awkward moment, Fetterman gave a jumbled answer following a long pause after he was asked about his stance on fracking.

“I do support fracking and — I don’t, I don’t, I support fracking and I stand and I do support fracking,” he managed to say after the moderator pointed out Fetterman had stated clearly in a 2018 interview that he did not support the controversial procedure.

After the debate, Democrats and journalists were left to pick up the pieces.

“It’s not his fault, but Lt. Gov. Fetterman struggled,” NewsNation host Chris Cuomo said off the top of his post-debate show. “And again, I’m not faulting him for it, I don’t think his preparation was great, but he clearly is dealing with health issues.”

“I spoke to Fetterman recently, and I expected him to be very bad tonight,” tweeted Charlotte Alter of Time magazine. “But he was much much worse than I expected (and much worse than in our one-on-one conversation.)”

“I do support fracking and — I don’t, I don’t, I support fracking and I stand and I do support fracking,”...

He’s Bidenesque in his oratory.

It is abusive for his family to allow him to continue. He is clearly unable to do this job.

Be it dementia or stroke, the cognitive abilities of many in the body politic is terrible and a life-long condition. We are conditioned by the media and Beltway bureaucrats to accept morons in some comfort in their stupidity and dumb comments, yet are told to fear and loathe intelligent and articulate outsiders like Lake, Trump, and DeSantis.

Wake up people.

The only ones surprised by Fetterman’s incoherence are Dems who don’t think Biden is senile.

Hahahah

OZ is no moderate.. he’s a Globalist, gun grabbing , snake oil fraud… stop trying to spin.

This election is a joke on every level.

Two people, neither of which should be allowed to run for dog catcher.

This is the absolute biggest joke of a race for the senate in my lifetime.

$200 Million spent, mostly by outside money to buy this seat for one of these losers….

Anyone thinking either of these jokes will be representing PA is a fool.

This election is the personification of everything wrong with the two party system that exists today.

Pathetic

I still wonder what the Dem machine in PA got, by having this guy elected as Lieutenant Governor?

The Dem machine strongly opposed him, in fact, and still they despise him. He upset the sitting LG in the primary.

Compare the speech of this mental defective with Trump writing “covfefe” and how the media reacted. I guess if Joe Stupid is fit to be president Febbleman is fit to be senator.

And my beagle is fit to be mayor.

He has been unable to do this job and all the others for his whole life. Same with many in today’s political short bus bunch.

not really a debate...more like statements...fetterman constantly belittled oz...by pointing out that oz is a successful and famous doctor...but not a politician...that’s kinda like a plug for oz...lol

I’m A PA registered voter and have already voted by mail absentee ballot, as have many of my fellow citizens. The debate was held too late in the game to influence many of those voters. About the debate itself, I was shocked by Fetterman’s garbled words and often incoherent babblings.

Anyon watching for an hour could say Fetermans cognitive ability wasn’t there to formulate a cohesive response let alone the ability to make decisions.

However apart from his health - he opposes the Supreme Court - wants to free murderers - ‘energy independence’ was his choice word for green energy not oil. He suppors abortion - supports defunding police - wants to raise tax’s. etc.etc.etc.

“It is abusive for his family to allow him to continue. He is clearly unable to do this job.”

His family just wants him to get a job so they won’t have to keep supporting his 50 year old azz.

just remember...the dems are good at one thing...getting out the vote. time we beat them at their own game.

Your posts on this topic over the last couple of months have become pathetic.

First, you hated Oz because you were convinced he could never win.

Now that he’s become a very solid contender, you’re complaining that he’s a “Globalist, gun grabbing, snake oil fraud.”

Please do the people on these PA election threads a favor and just go away.

Sorry but the man has no business in the Senate he is the worst candidate I’ve ever seen. Anti gun, in bed with the Chinese/globalists, advocates for trans kids, and hocked snake oil for personal gain so blatantly that he paid our over 5 million dollars for his fraud.

This guys is a slimeball… top to bottom

I have mentioned this before. Fetterman’s TV ads are very well done. His handlers are doing good job there. So I am amazed they would let him participate in a debate.>>>> I heard he was 4 points behind. That would ferret him out. Mastriano chose not to attack Shapiro (Wolf lockdown, mask mandate, close your business shaprio was the henchman in all of that) so he has no reason to debate and he is ahead by a lot.
