Almost always there is something going on beneath the surface the general public will never know. This has little to do with US relations with Russia. She has a surly attitude and pissed off the wrong person. That the Russian higher upside can flip the diplomatic bird to Biden is just icing on the cake, not the main course.

I suspect we do not know the whole story here. It could be just Russia being vindictive but I think maybe Griner is guilty of more than is being told to us.

I remember in the late 60's early 70's an anti drug PSA warning against doing drugs in other countries.

People should watch "Locked Up Abroad".

I'd say 90%+ of their episodes are involving people getting busted for doing or running drugs overseas.
