Texas has and uses the death penalty frequently enough to be criticized all the time by states like Cali, Washington, Oregon, etc-it is for pre-meditated murder, torture and heinous murder and such...
With a good judge and jury, this sociopath will either death or life w/o parole, hopefully-he is a menace and should never be allowed to walk free again...

It’s definitely pre-meditated when you go and hunt down someone after an offense that happened earlier in the day.
I have seen those stats but don’t remember where. FBI stats lumps whites and hispanics together. When you split off hispanic-whites, the USA white firearm homicide rate is lower than many European countries where firearms are completely banned.

city-data.com has demographic and crime stats for nearly every city in the US. Look up some of the nice suburban towns surrounding hell-holes like Philly, Baltimore or St Louis to see the difference.
Outside of the Blue Cities, Texas crime rate is “Europe, but with AR-15’s”.

My Town of 35,000 has had 2 Murders in 22 years.
1 was a FBI informant Lawyer flipping on a drug Cartel. the other was a guy murdering his ex Wife at her Divorce lawyers.
Almost every kid over 16 has a semiauto rifle, too. Our Town is only 75% white, too.
