The cost of Thanksgiving turkey has spiked by 50 percent this year due to inflation and an avian flu outbreak, as the cost of the average the holiday meal rises by 12 percent.
Last year, Americans forked over an average of $53.31 on a holiday dinner for ten, but rampant inflation has this year's estimated cost set for $67.78.
While the increase comes as the price of stuffing, gravy, green beans, pumpkin pie and all the usual Thanksgiving treats soar, the biggest jump comes in the cost of the turkey.

But Joe Biden will give you Abortions and “Gender Affirming Healthcare” for Thanksgving...
Then boycott it... Hit the overall commercial bottom line across the board and the commercial ventures will give them shit and get them straight for the hit they are taking.
But instead we will be complacent and take a full dive and pay it anyway. How will we ever win if we keep handing them a win up front...
They are playing us as fools and we are embracing it.
Stay home... Don’t buy shit, Cancel for just one holiday and it will indeed get their attention. As long as we keep “going along to get along” they are going to keep doing this.
It is pure stupidity... Period. Just say NO...
There’s one turkey who deserves no pardon this Thanksgiving...nor his handlers and fluffers.
And that’s not counting the gas used driving to the store or the spike in your utility rates to cook that sucker.
LOL. Thanks, I have missed Bloom County.
Cancel Thanksgiving AND Christmas and it will indeed get their attention. And if your family has issues with this screw them... They are part of the mass brainwashing and you don’t need them anyhow.
“Sorry... but we are taking a vacation from holiday vacations this year”...
Why is this so hard to see as the greatest tool we still have available to fix this crap???

This is where we get our fresh Turkey. It’s up about $20 a bird.

$87.16 - 20lb bird.
Capitulation...
Where is Jen Psaki?
Remember when that b-itch proudly and triumphantly bragged that the price of a July 4th picnic went down?
Beans went down $.06 but she ignored the fact that every single thing went up - rent, gas, utilities, ...
How soon we forget JoJoPedo made July 4th, 2021 meal $0.16 less expensive than the year previous.

Idiot writer, this is much more than 12%.
The most expensive turkey we have is vegetating in the WH right now.
That’s a great idea. Let’s drive the manufacturers out of business so that instead of everything being expensive, there are no producers and no food for anyone. Inflation is always and everywhere a monetary phenomenon and it comes from government (and at the end of the day, we have inflation because we want it). The producers of our food don’t want this and they aren’t “making money”.
We get ours free every year from ShopRite. Just spend $400 and get a free bird. We thought they’d raise the $400 this year but they didn’t.
You obviously have no clue how this works. THEY run congress. THEY will not take it well, and THEY will get it straight like right now as damage control.
It will not drive them out of business. The LAST THING THEY WILL ALLOW is being put out of business. It will immediately make them “adjust” what congress is doing to them.
Just take a look at BlackRock because they are getting backlash. The one organization who rules the world is backtracking on ESG because their bottom line is being threatened. One thing you can always count on is defense of their bottom line.
And by the way BlackRock owns THEM ALL... EVERYBODY.
The concept you propose is BS... That is the exact propaganda they hope we are dumb enough to fall for. No... Boycott and change their tune. They are safe, they will get bailouts. But bailouts are not as profitable as the 300% over cost scam they are pulling right now.
