Polls tend to be more accurate 5-7 days before the election because no pollster wants to be too wrong the day after. No one will hire them if they were too far off on their predictions.
The fact the polls are closing in now is a great sign. Not proof, but better news than the contrary.

I have no faith in the integrity of our elections - long gone years ago. Democrats cheat and steal as a habit, not going to change until they're dead.
What I’m being told by someone who’s pretty well patched in with the Dem operative comms network, they are seriously going crazy. He’s done work in DC with some Republican orgs himself, and he says: “Here’s the thing about early voting … GOTV is about hitting your numbers. if you can crush turnout early you can sort of coast a bit. You can’t take it easy, but the pressure does come off a bit. Because additional turnout is just gravy.
If you don’t hit your numbers early each day gets progressively harder. Which chews up staff time, adds to staff stress, etc.” And they are in full freak-out mode in the backchannel comms.
Senate seats are able to be stolen. House seats not so much.
Must be a HUGE wave coming and to cheat during Mid-terms on that scale to try and hold the senate is very risky.
I’ll vote, as I always do, but am skeptical as the “toss up states” are PA, GA, WI, MI, NV and AZ which all have a celebrated and colorful history of blatant ballot fraud.
If she loses it would be like gaining 2/3 of a Senator - issues wise.
I’m a bit surprised at some of the polling showing her vulnerable given her dominant performance in the jungle primary which is with the same electorate. Hopefully it is true...otherwise she will be worse than ever. She is running as the defacto Democrat candidate - no longer has to answer to the GOP base at all.
It’s risky to cheat that big on mid-terms. But it’s definitely possible. They’d need to cheat bigtime in 3 states. It’s still possible...depending on turnout. But *some* states have made it harder to cheat in since 2020. So we shall see.
HUH? Almost every poll in 2016 had Joe Biden up by a lot. Like +16 In Wisconsin and +10 in Pennsylvania.
I don’t remember any poll where Trump was far ahead.

I happened to check their House projections and found it interesting that my district, IN-1, they consider a toss-up. This district has been Democrat for nearly 100 years. Black conservative Jennifer-Ruth Green is the first quality candidate the GOP has put up since I have lived here, and must be putting the fear of God into the old Dem machine. I have never seen any kind of TV ads for that seat until this year, and both sides are running them.
Dems are already saying the vote count won’t be known on Nov 9th.
I’ll believe it when I see it.
Problem is that we no longer know who won for about 2 - 3 weeks after election day. That is where the cheating goes into overdrive.
